Editirix extraordinaire Carine Rotifeld has started spilling the beans on her new biannual magazine, officially called CR Fashion Book. Describing it as a “celebration of fashion and creativity,” each issue will be centered around a theme and feature established and emerging talents both in front of and behind the camera.

Karlie Kloss is one of the hardest working models in the game. From Vogue covers to the Victoria’s Secret runway, the 19-year-old Chicago native has had quite a 2011, crossing over into that rare pop culture terrain occupied solely by bona fide supermodels. So why not close out the year on a high, steamy note by ripping off her clothes and giving the kids a show in Vogue Italia‘s December issue, photographed by Steven Meisel. And there’s a lot of show going on.

This spring has been a bit of a surprise to me, but surprises are good, I don’t think any of us were expecting designers to switch things up, I consider this to be an amazing start to the year of 2011. First one up for review is Max Mara’s 2011 collection who is taking a very CK-esque stand of minimalism for his Spring 2011 campaign.
