Carmen Kass Dines in Couture for Vogue Italia
Edited by Amanda Gabriele
What would you wear to a dinner party? Givenchy? Valentino? Chanel Haute Couture? How about all three? A sophisticated Carmen Kass wears magnificent attire with a look of boredom for “A Precious Glam” in the March 2011 issue of Vogue Italia. Beef tartare, champagne and ice cream sundaes are on the menu along with a face cage, boat neck gowns and diamond jewelry. Shot by Miles Aldridge and flawlessly styled by Alice Gentilucci, this is what fine dining should look like.

Vogue Italia always has the best editorials, and this one does not disappoint. Featuring a childlike Siri Tollerod accessorized in an eccentric fairy-tail with pink tipped hair, Aldridge has created an alternate world that I am dying to visit. With extensive use of live props (cats, everywhere!) each photo has a unique dream-like color scheme, complete with matching wallpaper.
