Mon Ari 1962
Runway Rundown: 4xF
Fantasy by Mon Ari 1962 was by far my favorite line out of the four displayed at the 4xF show during Fashion Week. The textures used in the pieces were amazing, while the flawless accessories completed each and every look.
The stand out makeup and hair weren’t the only thing that impressed me during the Future show by Fahrd Foste, the large, open-baked designs made the backside of the pieces just as interesting as the front. Thank God that the collection was unique and interesting, because it allowed me to let the visible underwear lines and miscued models slide.
Frontier by Donald Fitzgerald was great line for the intament, providing great underwear and sportier apparel. Quick, precise and to the point, this installment was a good, straight to the point, runway show.
Magalis Garcis produced Forbidden, a Spanish feeling line that was nothing short of fabulous. The colors and materials went hand in hand to generate a collection that will be a hit next Spring. My favorite subtle element were the metallic slips that were under the sheer fabric of the dresses. This made the color of the dress stick out in a very classy way.
Four F’s and Four amazing collections seemed to be the right recipe for packing a small Soho Gallery, because despite some of the delays (it’s the fashion industry get over it) and miscues, the crowd stayed for an amazing show.
