Spring is the best time to show off the natural look of glowing skin, one way to do that is with shades of peach.  And I’ve noticed that peach is the color choice of many makeup artists on and off the runway.

At Rodarte: a blended orange peach on the outer corners of the eyes, golden peach on the cheeks, and a soft peach on the mouth.

J. Mendel: peach nude gloss on the lips and peachy bronze powder on the cheeks.

At Monique Lhuillier: peach cream cheeks and lips and a peachy brown eye shadow.

Classical, dreamy and dangerous, Monique dazzled the audience with statuesque column like long dresses with killer drape, body hugging knee length skirts with fur trimmings and asymmetrical dresses. Adding to the dark drama was a heavy jeweled adorning necklace that was separate from the dresses and revealed sexy patches of skin between the neck and the bodice of the dresses. The music hummed with macabre and seductive lyrics, “We can’t stop this thing from what it’s gonna be.” The collection was reminiscent of Bogie and Bacall in Casablanca. Danger around every corner yet a fascinating sophistication to handle it!
