Too bad she didn’t bother to show up. But as we all know, the People’s Choice Awards are on par with the Grammys in terms of relevance and on par with a moderately lavish bar mitzvah in terms of its ability to draw celebrities. Other big winners included Emma Stone, who was actually present to accept her awards for  Favorite Movie Actress and Favorite Comedic Movie Actress and Demi Lovato who beat out pop heavyweights Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Perry to win Favorite Pop Artist. The Dark Knight Gets a Rise

The film, slated for a Summer 2012 release stars Christian Bale in the titular role, Hathaway as Catwoman, Tom Hardy as Bane and my future ex-husband Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake. Series regulars Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman return as well.

Bruce Weber headed down to New Orleans to shoot Lara Stone and Morgan Freeman for the latest US Vogue. I guess Freeman’s becoming a triple threat actor/voice over/model?  The concept is cool, opposites of old and young, but I can’t help but be creeped out by the photo of the two laying down laughing together.  Shout out: Stone is wearing a Barak Obama shirt in the last photo.
