Erik Hart is feeling the pressure of the economic plunge, as he is opting to get away from his self titled label and will instead be focusing on his Morphine Generation diffusion line. The collection will debut at Project next week in Las Vegas.

WWD is reporting on the crowd of self-described “hipster misfits” that jammed up the Beatrice Inn to celebrate the opening on Cry Wolf, a cute little boutique owned by husband/wife team Abiri Ward and Nina Wolff. Numero uno WWD, if someone describes themselves as “Hipster Misfits” they are most likely the most uninteresting people in the world, making them less than worth of a mention in your fashion tome.
The shop seems cash worthy with a collection of brands that includes Buddhist Punk (pictured left), Morphine Generation and Corpus Christi. Continuing in their “we’re too cool for school” mantra, the owner of the store actually made references to “it” that random factor that defines what’s hip. Ms.Wolff, who felt no need to take on her husbands name (oh, 1960′s worth scandal), said the stores interior is meant “for anyone who ‘gets it” as it’s geared toward the neighborhoods eclectic crowd. I’m guessing this means they’ve gone to great lengths to “shock” people with pictures of nude clowns or something and door knobs made out of dildos.
