Mark Squires shot Dior darling Marion Cotillard for the June/July 2009 issue of BlackBook Magazine.
In the spread she wears Chanel, Moschino, Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs, and more.

Steven Meisel’s editorial for Vogue Italia April 2009 is basically the greatest game of dress-up you could ever imagine. Poking fun at our current economic crisis, “Fashion Bailout” portrays some intense mixing, matching and accessorizing at what appears to be a second hand store. While the clothes on Darya, Portia & Eliza are a mish-mosh of Moschino, Maison Martin Margiela, Roberto Cavalli and others, this spread suggests that you can look just as couture wearing Goodwill finds. But to be honest, I would have pegged this spread the brainchild of Carine Roitfeld over Franca Sozzani.

Moschino had a tremendous showing at this year’s Milan Fashion Week, producing another phenomenal line for Fall 2009. The collection had a very classic New York Upper East Side feel to it, and some of the small accents were amazing. There was a gray jacket with red piping around the entire thing that was to die for, and the wide ruled pinstriped pants looked great. I think the biggest trend spotted in this collection were the shoulder details on the jacket, very military inspired. Loved the collection!
Ps. Look at the shoes!

How cute are these shoes? I want 10 pairs…This is the work of Moschino collaborating with Repetto to benefit the Repetto Foundation. The “Zizi” shoes are cotton peach blossom with a canvas silk leaf from the 1950s creates a sense of retro beauty. In celebration of its 60th anniversary, the brand started “Danse Pour la Vie” (Dance for Life) in partnership with UNESCO to raise fund to support educational programs that implement dance to integrate thousands of marginalized children. These designed shoes will be showcased worldwide in September 2008 before being auctioned off for the cause.

A few weeks ago we posted the sketches of Madonna’s costumes for her upcoming Sticky and Sweet tour. For her latest tour Madonna’s pulling out all the fashion stops. Here’s she is wearing a Moschino tracksuit at a rehearsal performance. Just added photos of Madge wearing what I think are her Givenchy designed costume. Can’t wait to see all the costumes!

It seems as though Madonna got tired of being slapped in the face. Since recent talks of Madonna’s fashion choices turning for the worst, the singer has made significant plans for the ensemble of her Sticky and Sweet Tour. Adrianne Phillips returns to the scene as one of the many costume designers for the tour alongside countless other designers with a vision. Recent talks have speculated that Tom Ford created suites for her band and that Miu Miu suited Madonna up with the perfect pair of pumps as Roberto Cavalli, Yves Saint Laurent and Jeremy Scott contribute clothing for performances. Madonna assures us she won’t forget to accessorize with Moschino sunglasses and the perfect pair of Stella McCartney boots. That’s a lot of designers!

Madonna has divided her show into four segments in which each designer’s pieces will make a stand out performance alongside the superstar.
