Selena Gomez in Julien MacDonald Fall 2011 – Congratulations Selena, for wearing a mullet dress I actually like, actually love in fact. One of our favorite teen style stars, Selena’s dark side came to the surface in this Gothic number by Julien MacDonald. The gold accessories lightened things up in the perfect way.

The singer revealed her baby bump on the VMA red carpet — well there’s one, and probably the only, thing I regret about skipping that “awards” show —  in an asymmetrical orange Lanvin. Beyonce’s rep has also confirmed that she and Jay-Z are indeed expecting their first child, meaning celeb kids better step their games up because this one’s coming out of the womb dripping in diamonds and swag. Here’s a vid of the VMA ‘oops’ that no one cared about. Lil Mama jumped onstage at the end of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ performance at the end of the VMAs last night, it’s kindof funny because Jay-Z tries to push her out of the way a little bit..no one has really commented on this issue as much as the Kanye one, but there is a Twitter topic going around about it (#lilmamais). I think I’ve given this asshole enough press for the rest of his life..but this was just too funny. A lesson to all: Don’t drink at events if you’re the kind of person that already makes an ass out of yourself.

If Kanye wrote for Fashion Indie, he’d have one hell of a ‘Last Night’s Party’: Last night I drank a bottle of Hennessy, went on stage on live television and interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech to tell the world that I think Beyonce makes good videos..and show off my etched hair, what do you guys think? Good thing Beyonce had my back in this one, she totally redeemed it for me after everyone was booing me by letting Taylor finish the speech..what can I say, I knew Beyonce was going to win Video Of The Year..they should’ve been cheering at me for being psychic!

What do you guys thing..is Kanye West just an idiot, or was this a publicity stunt?

Kelly Clarkson had a thing or two to say of Kanye West’s episode at the MTV VMAs last night. She wrote on her blog:

Dear Kanye,

What happened to you as a child?? Did you not get hugged enough??… I mean, I’ve seen you do some pretty sh*tty things, but you just keep amazing me with your tactless, asshole ways. It’s absolutely fascinating how much I don’t like you. I like everyone. I even like my asshole ex that cheated on me over you…which is pretty odd since I don’t even personally know you. The best part of this evening is that you weren’t even up for THIS award and yet you still have a problem with the outcome. Is winning a moon man that much of a life goal?? You can have mine if it will shut you up. Is it that important, really??…
On a side note, Beyonce has always been a class act and proved again tonight that she still is. Go TEXAS!!

Taylor Swift, you outsell him ….that’s why he’s bitter. You know I love your work! Keep it up girl!

I’m not quite sure who’s idea it was to put glitter all over Tyson Ritter of the All-American Rejects and have him perform shirtless, but I have to say, it translated really well on stage. Ritter never struck me as the type to wear glitter, but he did a good job flashing his beanpole body around during their performance last night.  Think this could be the new look for rockstars?

A+ to their stylist. Our friends Cobra Starship fit together perfectly at the VMAs last night (although Gabe is a little off the color scheme, I’m glad to see him without the white Ray-Ban glasses). Although some may say they’re a little too matched, I think they surpassed most of the fashion don’ts that were out and about last night.

I’ve now determined: Kanye must’ve been wasted off of whatever is in his hand in order to make such an ass out of himself at the VMAs last night. These two look like the ultimate trash couple (I’m sorry Amber, but that camel python thing is NOT flattering), and Kanye’s ‘stylist’ was obviously trying to make him look like a trashy, trashed, biker. Fail.
