You know that distressed clinky t-shirt-cum-soft-cloud of sheer that’s been spotted everywhere? It all started with Raquel Allegra, when she found the purpose for her idle hands: seam ripping her cotton jersey tees into plush distress. When we caught up with Allegra nearly a year ago, she told us about her epic trunk show, where Nicole Richie duked it out with Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen for their faves. And how she outfitted Lady Gaga’s Judas video - the dance troop and Mother Monster herself. Her aesthetic has permeated, and now we peek in again at the laidback ease of Spring 2012. Though the ripped shirt may always be her staple, we’re feeling the dyed blazers for a cheerful summer.

During a writing break at SNL last week, cast member Taran Killam decided to put on a pink fuzzy sweater and reproduce the entire dance Robyn performs in her Call Your Girlfriend video. Recruiting the help of other writers to shine flashlights for a strobe effect, the duplication is actually quite good. Naturally, we have been obsessing over it the last few days. It feels like it was just last week that we were premiering a Beyonce video. Oh wait, it is because we WERE doing the same last week. This time Beyonce look a lot less preggers in this video for “Love On Top.” She also gets back to her roots of serious dancing and barely there leotarded costumes.

Here’s another one! Beyonce just released her fourth video from her latest album 4. (Yes, 4th video since her album released only a little over month ago ! Overkill?) Countdown is very Beyonce dance track and one that we’ve personally danced to many times after hours at the office.
