Here is a great advertisement for ‘Greed’ a new perfume by Fransceso Vezzoli in which Natalie Portman and Michelle Williams engage in a fierce battle over said product.
Directed by Roman Polanski, this project’s goal is is to isolate and imitate the hype created by the promotion of a new luxury product in the mass market. Basically, a faux ad campaign for an imagined perfume.

Like an actress who is required to gain weight for an upcoming movie role, Natalie Portman shaved her head back in 2005 for her leading role in V for Vendetta. Yes, the do actually looked cute on Portman, but if any no-name on the street were to shave her head, people would think she pulled a Britney Spears or just got off of chemo therapy. Recently, trends have decided that shaving is no longer just for the boys! Trendsetters everywhere have whipped out the shears and shaved only certain areas of their head. Whether it be the sides/back to create an edgy mushroom shape or a section by the hair part (Jethro Cave-esque), shaving has become the thing to do for girls who want to turn heads! But be careful…you don’t want to end up looking like this.

Yet another retail outlet closed due to our economic crisis…and took a celeb designer with it.
Natalie Portman’s animal-free (vegan) line of footwear was launched in February of this year and retailed on average for $200 a pair.
Portman’s line didn’t fail on its own merits. Instead, it was a casualty of the closing of its parent company, Té Casan, which closed up shop for good last month.
Hopefully, Portman will seek to continue her vegan venture with another partnership.

Last week on Project Runway, Natalie Portman helped Suede win the grand prize: seeing his dress made and sold on Bluefly.com. Today Bluefly announced that the 150 re-creations of Suede’s winning design it put up for sale at $286 sold out in less than a day. Wow! That’s amazing. Here’s what Suede had to say about it:
“I was so excited about this challenge and really wanted to win. Selling my dress on Bluefly is the opportunity of a lifetime.
