The 2012 SAG Awards took place last night, and our applause goes out to all the big winners. As always, we were super excited to see what everyone was wearing on the red carpet from the couture dresses to the 6-inch high stiletto platforms. Always willing to try any method — no matter how heavy-handed or preachy — to bring attention to the plight of animals, PETA has put 20 noteworthy vegetarians in a sticky situation. Through December and possibly into January, PETA will offer stamps bearing the likenesses of 20 celebrity vegetarians — such as Ellen Degeneres, Oscar-winner Natalie Portman, Pamela Anderson, Sir Paul McCartney and that paragon of virtue Steve-O — as well as some historically herbivorous figures — Pythagoras, Gandhi, Johnny Appleseed, Leonardo da Vinci and Bob “The Price Is Right” Barker.

Gripes about the state of the world: 1. Children are starving in developing countries. 2. Mothers are sending those children to work for pennies instead of school so they can eat. 3.
