Well summer’s winding down and that means it’s time to save up for a few key pieces from designers’ F/W 2010 collections. And who better than Brit Nigel Cabourn? Mixing classic workwear with high fashion, there are some nice pieces here. Check the duffle and more after the jummmmp.

Men’s style has taken a turn for the utilitarian in recent years, but here’s one useful innovation we didn’t see coming: the reversible jacket.
Nigel Cabourn seems to be a true believer, offering both a double-patterned button-up and this reversible cardigan in his latest Fall line. (The inside’s a plain heather gray.) It helps that both sides are handsome to begin with, and we suppose it goes a little farther in justifying a $450 cotton cardigan?but something still seems a little off here. As nice as the horizontal pattern is, after a while it’s going to be hard not to think of it as a lining.
