While far from the trial of the century, the trademark infringement case between Guess and Gucci is at least turning out to be the trial of the year…so far — after all Lindsay Lohan‘s been lying low lately. Marc Fisher, CEO of Marc Fisher Footwear, the exclusive footwear licensee of the defendant, Guess, wrapped up his testimony in court on Wednesday where emotions ran a little high.

- Jones Group is reportedly one of the propsective buyers of Jimmy Choo, after the namesake designer and LVMH have dropped out of the running. Jones Group already owns Nine West and recently bought Stuart Weitzman, but if they want to build an unstoppable shoe empire with the acquisition of Choo, they’ll have to plunge a stiletto into the hearts of fellow bidders — German luxury company Labelux (which owns Bally) and US firm TPG. I wore this outfit yesterday to an event in the city. The top is a floral print shirt length dress from Forever 21, H&M Jeans and Nine West Shoes. I love the colors in the top and paired with the pink platforms gives this look just the right amount of color for summer. Some people go over board with pairing brights, but the blue and tan in the top, tones down the yellow and coral and by adding the pink shoes it allowed the entire outfit to pop.
I also finally did something different with my hair! I put my hair in bantu knots (straight hair twisted into little knots) and it came out like this. I had different size knots which is why my waves were varying lengths, but this was just the experiment. Practice makes perfect right?

The Jimmy Choo for H&M collection will include shoes, bags, accessories for both men and women, and a women’s clothing collection to complement the accessories.
But at $345 for boots we can easily purchase at Nine West for $120, we wonder who will be buying these?!?!

The banners on the site’s other pages have pictures of shoes, of course. Or if there’s a person, she’s holding or wearing a Nine West product.
It took me a couple of minutes of research to figure out this guy is Nine West’s creative director, Fred Allard.
Does he have a foot fetish or something? Doesn’t he look a little too interested in which “hot trend” you’re most into? Is Fred himself a hot trend? He’s clearly a very talented man, but I had never heard of him, and his come-hither stare is freaking me out.
