You have to admit it’s a really big deal trying to pick out the perfect costume every year, no matter how old you are. With Halloween just around the corner I figured we’d throw some ideas here and there… so far here’s what I could think of…

Gwen Stefani to Drive Target B-A-N-A-N-A-S

Target and Gwen Stefani are teaming up for Harajuku Mini, Stefani’s new Japanese anime-inspired kid’s collection for the mass retailer, debuting in November.

“I’ve always wanted to do a cool children’s fashion line inspired by the supercute and playful kid’s clothing you find in Japan.” said Stefani. “The whole idea is about being creative, expressing your own individuality and having fun getting dressed. ”

A takeoff of Gwen’s Harajuku Lovers young contemporary collection, Harajuku Mini is the No Doubt frontwoman’s first line for children and boys and will range in price from $3.99 to $29.99.

Harajuku Mini is the latest in a long line of collabos for Target, including Zac Posen, Rodarte and Proenza Schouler. The Bullseye plans on hitting the mark again when it rolls out the collection in two parts: in-store and online on November 13th and again in January. [WWD]

Colorful and wild, just like LAMB’S very own No Doubt babe Gwen Stefani!… It surprises me that some of these runway models actually look like Stefani.

Bands Past and Present With Awesome Style

Don’t you love the fact that fashion inspirations can be found anywhere, on anyone, or anything. One of the most interesting places to find this little perk is usually on my favorite bands album covers… let’s just point out a few.

As a total 90′s kid growing up listening to No Doubt and watching Gwen’s hair change with her every mood was pure awesomness, we all know we loved her “kicking down doors” attitude and 20′s housewife inspired hair twists.

VAMPIRE WEEKEND- Total prepsters, how could they not be after all they did attend Columbia University. Button ups, cardigans, oxfords, scruff, and scarves.

THE STROKES- Only the best thing to ever hit your cute little ears! Last Night, Is This it, Someday, just makes you want to party your youth away. These guys are somewhat on the grungy side, and probably the only guys to make jean jackets look as good as they do on a male.

FRANZ FERDINAND- Oxfords, blazzer jackets, ties, and button up shirts, some what British looking?… how would you not want one of these boys by your side.

THE CURE- Maybe their style is a bit on the scary side, but just like their sweet tunes, I dig the all black, serious stares, huge Doc Marten looking boots, and messy hair.

FASHION INDIE PLAYLIST: Paramore: Ignorance Music Video

I couldn’t help myself, I had to post the new music video by Paramore for their new song “Ignorance”. There are supringly a couple different reasons for doing so too. The first is that she does her own make up, and tends to do a pretty good job. The second, the video has glimpses of a pretty stylish outfit that front woman Hayley Williams rocks in some form of blue glass cube. Lastly, this band has show signs of being (if they aren’t already) the new No Doubt, right down to the hairstyle shown through out the video as well. Be sure to check out the video below:

Just in time for No Doubt’s comeback tour, Gwen Stefani covers the July 2009 issue of ELLE.

Her Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 outfit doesn’t go so well with the silver text. But I’m sure Gwen got styled wonderfully for her spread, in which she wears looks from Alexander McQueen, Rodarte, and Marc Jacobs.
