Multi-talented multi-hyphenate Karl Lagerfeld recruited a cadre of supermodels, threw them in the latest and hautest couture and invited some light tubes along for the ride for the latest issue of Numéro. Karlie Kloss, Saskia de Brauw, Lindsey Wixson, Daria Strokous and Aymeline Valade model the hell out of Givenchy, Chanel, Maxime Simoens, Jean Paul Gaultier, Atelier Versace, Valentino, Christian Dior and Giambattista Valli et al in the phosphorescent photo spread, “Neo Couture,” styled by Rebecca Bleynie and Vanessa Metz.

Edited by

On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me, 12 pairs of tatas! It’s been a great year for topless editorial and no better time to celebrate our favorite snapshots than on the final day of the Christmas season. These ladies are celebrating in their birthday suits, and we love them for it. That’s right, even you Lindsay.

Edited by

If you were in 20Ans you were IN. It was Young, Chic and Rebellious.

Hans Feurer back in VOGUE Paris

Emmanuelle Alt is writing her own ticket for VOGUE Paris. I was not expecting a fundamental change in the Editorial Direction being that she has been the Fashion Director of the magazine for over ten years and collaborating with Carine Roitfeld. Thus the assumption that there would be little change from the status quo.

What do Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears have to do with Fashion and the Big Celebrity Boom?

From Benjamin Kanarek Blog

What do Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears have to do with Fashion and the Big Celebrity Boom?
Lindsay Lohan © Marie Claire USA

Celebrities and Fashion have always been synonymous. However, today more than ever, fashion magazines are featuring more celebrities than immigrants trying to get into the USA for their Green Card. In many cases these highly regarded magazines are using celebrities more often than Super Models for their covers. There are many reasons for this and in my opinion some of those decisions have more to do with the Politics of Fashion than the notoriety of the Celebrity.
