After his first 100 days in office it makes sense for Obama to get a new look. Hopefully he opts for this oh so emo cut. It makes me happy.

Lanvin debuted their Fall 2009 Collection in Paris this weekend, and I liked what I saw. The collection featured some amazing jackets and blazers, and in true Lanvin fashion the collection is 100% wearable. The collection was well styled, and it is really something I could see everyone wearing. The cool little hats were a nice touch.

PS Imposter Obama on the runway? Can you say cheesy?

As part of Jimm Lasser’s The Dunk on McCain exhibition which opened last night at the Tyson Space, the marquee piece was a specially created Obama Force One. The half-art piece, half sneaker features a unique sole which bears two different designs. The left shoe bears the statement ” A black man runs, the nation is behind him” while the right shoe features a shot of Barack Obama. The opening night included special prints created with the shoe soles for sale.

Whatever happened to just wearing a pin of the person you were going to vote for? I have no porblem with Nike either, but don’t you think this whole limited edition sneaker thing is getting a bit out of hand? Not that I support McCain, but I almost want to go to a place where kids will be lined up to get these and hand out flyers for McCain. By the way, the kids who are buying these probably aren’t even old enough to vote.

So we’ve clearly expressed our views on Hotflops. The hates been put out there; do with it what you want, but I think the contempt has deepened. Obama and McCain flipflops? Come on! What could people possibly be thinking? Not only are the faces extremely creepy to the point that I cringe, what’s with the idea of being a poster child for one of these men? There’s no reason I need to walk around with a vote ring, shirt, or candidate flipflops. Stop the madness!

Quite possibly the lowest blow ever taken on a campaign trail.  Obama is compared to Britney Spears and Paris Hilton in this pro-McCain ad. So basically, McCain wants you to believe that Obama is a vapid, self-absorbed camera hound, who lacks any credibility and at any day may shave his head, marry a back-up dancer, or worse… release a sex tape!!!

That’s pretty low Grandpa McCain. I’m totally working on a video to compare you to Perez Hilton, the only being in Hollywood lower than the Paris-ite.

Would ya buy underwear with Obama’s face on them?

Tonight at Sikenna Jennings Gallery in Chelsea, there is a fundraiser to honor Michelle Obama. The event is being hosted by Calvin Klein, Anna Wintour, and Andre Leon Talley.

Many paid $2300 to attend and shake hands with the honoree who will be getting massive cred points by the fashion set. I wonder if this is a way for Anna Wintour to get in good with the African Americans since totally creating a scene with Vogue’s recent King Kong/Lebron cover?

Will Michelle be the next cover model of Vogue? Obama made the cover of Men’s Vogue at the start of his campaign, it might be a nice compliment. Hopefully we can get a shot of the future First Lady sporting these Obama boxers.

Okay so not yet, but come on people. We deserve a change. And Oldie McOld Balls just doesn’t do it for me.
