Really cool Denis Guidone watches. Pair them with a black suit and you could be in the running for the next James Bond.

With more or less the whole world owning a cellphone today, have watches become a thing of the past? It seems that with the complicated displays and edgy designs that watches are just another piece of jewelry. I do my best to wear a watch everyday, but I’ll be the first to admit that I barely know how to read them, if they even have a working battery in them. For most guys watches have become the most essential piece of jewelry/accessory in their wardrobe. Here’s a little wrist candy for you, but don’t get to content on figuring out what time they read, because I’ll have my iPhone out before you can decide which is the hour hand.

I think this knit watch by Lazy Oaf is pretty funny. Not the most sophisticated of watches, but you will be sure to get people asking about.

These club friendly o.d.m watches illuminate the time when it is dark, but can't be seen otherwise, and I've always had trouble reading the time vertically.

If you want a watchs that ae both super stylish and fairly readable, my personal favorite are Nixon. I own three, they come in cool colors and designs, and the warranty is great for those morning afters when you are so out of it you step into the shower with your watch still on.

Thanks to Nixon, LikeCool, The Coveted and o.d.m for the images!

o.d.m is collected avidly overseas and specializes in special editions with designers such as Michael Young, Jon Burgerman, and Devilrobots, which highlight o.d.m.’s original concepts and watch features include personalized message watches and touch-screen functions. I first saw them on the runway around the wrists of Brooklyn Royalty’s models and then again in the promo pictures. I’m in love with these watches, and due to a very reasonable price tag attached there is no reason not to own a couple.
