Reality television — aside from heralding the downfall of Western civilization — is a booming market with an insatiable audience hungry for more fights, more breakdowns, more thrown glasses and flipped tables and more inevitable trips to rehab. Therefore American Media Inc. — the publisher of such prestigious titles as The National Enquirer, Star and OK! — has tapped into that hunger with Reality Weekly. Hitting newsstands the first week in January, the tabloid sells for a paltry $1.79;  justly earning the slogan “Less money/More fun!”

RW‘s editor, Richard Spencer — who also pulls double duty as the editor of OK! — extols the virtues of reality stars and their lack of virtue when it comes to any sort of discretion: “[Y]ou can’t keep them away. It’s always ‘Come to my wedding!’ or ‘I just redid my baby’s room. Want to see it?’ ” Whereas the stars love the constant exposure, the producers of the show love the free promotion.

When approached by American Media about Reality Weekly,  Simon Cowell – noted wearer of tight T-shirts and producer of America’s Got Talent — said: “Why hasn’t anyone done this before?” Off-hand, I would say integrity, but considering the nature of the tabloid industry, that can’t be right.

With features such as “Biggest Fights of the Week,” “Hottest Shots of the Week” (in reference to bikini shots) and a format that — according to Spencer — “you don’t even have to read to know what’s going on,” Reality Weekly is destined to be extended beyond its 13-week test period.  And America is destined to descend further into cultural despair.

A. Isn’t a hair designer called something else? Like a hairstylist or a hairdresser?

B. Doesn’t Snooki already have a clothing line, called “Armani Exchange” and/or “Juicy Couture“?

And C. When and where can I buy what will no doubt be the cheapest and tackiest shit to hit the runway since…Armani Exchange and/or Juicy Couture?

Snooki has her mind on the future, y’all! At least we know where her alleged mind is, for once. But what could have brought about this change in our little girl?

Has it finally dawned on the partygirl’s partygirl that her fifteen minutes are going into severe overtime? Whatever it is, Snooki’s got the eye of the tiger. Outside of her sartorial ambitions, she plans on getting “married by 26, 27″ and having “like, you know, four guido/guidette babies.”

That is, of course after she finds her one, true gorilla juicehead Prince Charming. Best of luck, Snickers! You’ve had more than your share already, but honestly (Ronny), I love a happy ending. I hope one day Snooki’s prince will come, slip on a glass bunny slipper and knock her up with his guido seed.

The Jersey Shore’s pocket-sized princess Snookie has just revealed to OK Magazine that she’s battled with eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia for years. There was a time when the deliciously rotundamongous Snookie Monster was just 80lbs!!!

Fortunately, the only puke she’s releasing is from nights of drinking and partying. Not too shocking that she’s been suffering with this disease, it’s just soooo common nowadays to find a girl who hates to eat of feels uncomfortable in her body. So sad…

OK! Magazine is notorious for photoshopping the shit out of celebrities for their cover, but in this latest attempt to make real women feel like shit they’ve gone a little too far. We’ve got the exclusive before and after shots after the jump.

“They doctored and Photoshopped my body to make it look like I have already lost all the weight, which I have not,” she told WWD.

Creepy OK! Magazine, just plain creepy, especially since next week they’ll probably run a story on how Kourtney’s gained back all the baby weight by showcasing a non-photoshopped image. FOR SHAME!!!!

While looking at the new OK magazine at my local nail salon, I couldn’t help but read the article about Britney Spears. As you know Briitney Spears has rehabbed herself and is now a good mother, notice her children are wearing WHITE TUXES on the cover! I was quite taken by this question and answer.

Could you imagine yourself getting into fashion design?
If I had the right team around me, definitely. We’re looking into it, it could happen. Probably women’s clothes first and then go into children’s

Sure because it’s that easy. When you’re singing career isn’t so hot, and that second acting career didn’t go over so well, start designing clothes. I’m sure that’s how it worked for John Galliano. What would her clothing line be like? Slogan T’s of her songs? Tuxes for kids?
