The Olsen twins, clearly no longer content to lay facedown on a surface for attention, they’ve concocted a few alternatives to the traditional Planking. There’s Owling, Storking, and Plowling. Today’s Style Crush is on It Girl of the moment Elizabeth Olsen (little sis and spitting image of Mary Kate & Ashley). Her first movie Martha Marcy May Marlene came out this weekend and critics are praising her acting chops. We however, have our eyes on something else: her wardrobe. Watch out for Elizabeth Olsen, the next IT Olsen sister who’s taking over the spot light. It’s kinda scary how much she looks like a better version of her sisters. Let’s just see what fashion-ventures this sister gets into, and if she can live up to the Olsen name.

I’m interviewing Joe Karban, the Sourcing and Production Manager behind the brand, and getting a glimpse into his side of the fashion business. I walk through two large antique doors to The Row design studio and take a seat in a floor-skimming, espresso brown leather chair.
Mr. Karban welcomes me warmly and introduces me to the entire team on the way to his office. A thirty-year veteran of Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, and luxury brand Ginny H, he certainly knows his way around the industry. We chatted about his views on creating the perfect collection, on building the design vision of the Olsen girls, and what qualities it really takes to succeed in the competitive fashion industry.

You’d think that it was more pleasure then business for them, but I guess I was way wrong, getting photographed at the tents IS just as publicity worthy as a club opening!
