Paired with steely gray hair and knightly influences like this pair of battle ready gloves, the designers behind this line have managed to make the impossible, possible; making the chess club seem cool.

One of my favorite (lesser known) designers, Ontfront, were kind enough to send over their new Spring/Summer lookbook, and I must say I remain impressed with their work. The brand does like to use some pretty distinct patterns, but I think what draws me to them the most is their tailoring. They always have amazing cuts and details that you don’t find too many other places.

Ontfront has me totally hooked for Fall 2009, and for good reason. The collection has a great color scheme of greys and purples, and the accents used (hoods, pin stripes and furs) really give that extra push into making these pieces different from the other collections out there.
