Orri Henrisson has put out some amazing looking outerwear for the upcoming Fall season. The collection features some unique collars and bright colors, for that appropriate splash of color that gets you through the cold winters. The rest of the collection is pretty straight forward. The shirts and the bandanas have been done more times the Paris Hilton so I can’t say I’m still in love with that, but the coats deserve the praise.

The new collection from Orri Henrisson caught my eye this morning, and the awesome colors have me dying to get my hands on it. I’m totally in love with the red, and the pants (despite how tight they may look) appear to me like they would be pretty comfortble. I think the collection is a solid one, and I look forward to seeing more from them.

Henry Ng, the man behind Orri Henrisson, recently sat down with The Fashionisto to talk about his company, inspiration and future plans int he fashion world. The interview is great, here is a small preview for you fashion die hards. 

How did you get interested in fashion?

I think I have always had a thing for fashion. My mum used to work as a seamstress when I was a kid and although I was never interested in what she did, I was curious.

Growing up, I also had a thing for clothes. I had some pretty awful things which, I definitely would not wear now, but back then, it was a different story.

What is your fashion background?

I am actually from a Multimedia / Graphic Design background and have mostly picked up knowledge along the way since I started the label. A friend of mine does my patterns and she has absolutely played an important part in giving me ideas on fabrications, silhouette, contacts etc.

Orri Henrisson is a Melbourne based company lead by Henry Ng. The collection is a hip youthful look with a solid combination of well crafted pieces and simple screen printing. The looks are fairly effortless to create as they are simple yet look great. The orange women’s shorts are great, and I would love to have that grey men’s jacket in the last picture. Sometimes simple is just as good my friends.
