MALE MODEL HUMPDAY: Dude, I Wanna Gay Marry You

Edited by

Flaunt Magazine just came out — badoom-ching! — with an editorial celebrating gay marriage, appropriately-titled “Some Dudes Marry Dudes,” starring Brian Shimansky and perennial favorite Chad White. Styled by Long Ngyuen and lensed by Ruvan Wijesooriya, the spread calls to mind another dudes-gettin’-hitched story by Out Magazine from 2010. In Matthias Vriens-McGrath‘s “Viva Las Vegas,” Jason Morgan and Mark Ricketson paint Sin City red in bachelor finery courtesy of Grant Woolhead. This Male Model Humpday, we’re in a matrimonial mood so allow us to pop one question  in particular — which couple takes the wedding cake?

10 Fashion Stars of the 17th Annual Out 100

Edited by

Andrej Pejic gets wrapped up in Nastassja Kinski. Brad Goreski channels Yves Saint Laurent. And Nicola Formichetti holds up two pork shanks. Is this just another day in the glamorous life? Yes, but it’s also Out Magazine‘s homage to some of the fashion industry’s best and gayest. For their 17th Annual Out 100 list, the mag enlisted the talents of Gavin Bond to create portraits inspired by iconic photos of the past. Mining the catalogs of Richard Avedon, Cecil Beaton, Irving Penn and Helmut Newton, among others, Bond’s photos serve a fitting tribute to the 100 queens, trannies, lesbians, and other assorted queers that showed that if things don’t necessarily get better, they at least get fabulous.

Call Him Tender: The Tom Ford Story

Edited by

Tom Ford and his partner of nearly 25 years, Richard Buckley, share their heartwarming love story with Out magazine. Turns out Tom’s then boss, Cathy Hardwick was responsible for their coupling: “Tender, get in here! Richard Buckley, the fashion editor of Women’s Wear Daily and editor of Scene, wants to go out with you. He’s very important. We need him. You take my credit card and go anywhere he wants to go.” Whoever said money can’t buy you love clearly never heard of a Black Card.

ENVY EXCLUSIVE: Christina Aguilera by Ellen Von Unwerth for Out Magazine [10 Photos]

I’m totally not into the new Christina Aguilera, but I can’t deny the sexual energy that Ellen Von Unwerth unearthed from the songstress in this spread for Out Magazine [Click to View Spread]. Instead of looking like a Gaga copy, Christina shows us a side of her new image that in itself is refreshing. Now if only Nicola can style the girl…

SPREAD UM: Lady Gaga by Ellen Von Unwerth for Out Magazine

SPREAD UM: Lady Gaga by Ellen Von Unwerth for Out Magazine

Despite Lady Gaga’s extreme attempts at shocking fashion it seems rare to find her on the cover of a magazine or in a stylized shoot. But now that I have found one, I’m on the hunt for more. Having someone else be her stylist is a much more flattering look then my little pony hair and Kermit the Frog blazers. At this point I’d be more shocked to see her in normal clothes! The styling in this Out spread is far from normal, but she looks good and its vampire inspired so no complaining from me.
