Inspired by Karen Blixen’s Out of Africa, designer Camilla Staerk infused subtle elements of African culture in her debonair, yet eerie, 2009 collection. Almost as if the straight-leg leather pants had been poured onto the models, their polished look contrasts nicely with Staerk’s light and airy ultrasuede dresses.
