The Perfect shoe for winter, you can wear them with just about everything, guys and girls can rock them, but one problem, does wearing them make you a HIPSTER? I vote yes, and everyone else decided no… I still say they’re hipster shoes.

Nothing’s for sure–except that clogs will be the most sought after shoes ever this fall. In the tradition of past pieces, there’s an abundance of contrasted pipings, linings, and lapels.  Check the seemingly denim lapels on the blazers.  Also note the brilliant colors, eye-catching without being overbearing.  It’s all in the details, homey.

Also, simple but elegant oxford shirts, again with gorgeous color choices.  Nothing overly garish a la some of the stuff in Ervell’s most recent collection.  On top of that, it looks like they’ve once again collaborated with shoemaker Pierre Hardy on a pair of shoes: two-tone suede derbies.  So hot right now.  More in the gallery.

Along with the androgynous trend instigated by designers’ Fall 2008 collections, oxford shoes have made their way back into the fashion scene. For the most part, we’ve seen basic oxford styles and colors (blacks, brows and greys), but Fall 2009 is editing the trend and making colorful and fun patterned oxfords the shoe to wear! I’m sure you’ve seen this trendy merchandise floating around stores from Opening Ceremony to Topshop, but it’s about time we counter the a-typical New York black wardrobe with some fun footwear!

Givenchy’s newest collection of shoes are bondage oxfords in colors that make me think about long scenic strolls along the Gay Pride Parade.  Seriously, find me someone willing to wear these and I’ll show you where he likes to hide his gerbel.
