Get ready for a designer with intuitive edge. Emerging from Mexico City is Paola Hernandez, unique in her design aesthetic and intuitive in designs elegant form. Studying art and dance, Paolo continuously immersed herself into a world of creative intellect. Drawing upon these interests, Paolo strutted her pumps down the road to Glam, her first label. The current collections focus on the depths of discovery. The clothes are meant to reveal. Paolo wants you to uncover the various aspects of a personally close-kept lifestyle; her clothes are mended with that inspiration in mind. Tracing her forms with bold blacks and various patterns, Paolo Hernandez manipulates her clothing into collections with an undeniable sense of edge. The elegance can’t be matched!

We are hearts for Mexican designer Paola Hernandez for her collection of mucho cool futuristic goodies. Born in 82 in Mexico City, Paolo’s childhood love of art fueled her desire to enter the world of fashion, where she proceeded to grab it by the balls and make it her bitch.  She studied at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and then at Central Saint Martins College, London (which is the breeding ground for the best in design)  In 2005 she launched her first label, Glam, and went on to create ‘Paola Hernandez’ in 2007 which has been met with praise from Elle, Nylon and Marie Claire.

Her goodies aren’t available in the US, yet, but hopefully someone will get smart and import this little designer soon.
