Teens in Tokyo, Japan have created a paper bag trend in the city, by using the bags as actual accessories to carry their every-day items in. Don’t think you can get away with carrying just any bag around, though. This rising trend follows the same rule of fashion as any other—the bigger the brand, the better.

It’s highly doubtful that this will fully replace anyone’s favorite Marc Jacobs tote, but it is a fun and eco-friendly way of sporting a designer brand.
