Dior Homme Spring/Summer 2009

The Spring/Summer 2009 line is nothing short of perfection in my eyes. This line covers all the basics needs when designing a wearble runway line. This line is wearable and stylish, yet has those few stand out pieces that really make the line worth remembering. The color scheme is really what caught my eye when I first saw the line. The vibrant accent pieces and accessories, paired with simply elegant staple pieces make this line look great. I think this line just goes to prove that metallics and gold are both here to stay, where as the revival of pink and black could be in order. I personally hope that pink and black doesn’t come back, it’s so Hot Topic.

P.s how do we feel about the Jeremy Scott-esque glasses?

Thanks again to Selectism for the pictures!

Comme Des Garcon Spring/Summer 09

unleashed his Spring/Summer 09 collection of couture with a statement. Not sure how I feel about the numerous skirts the models are wearing but regardless, the collection made a mark. A wide range of design detail appears on the various jackets paired with shorts, skirts, pants, or in many cases, all three at once. The style throughout the collection ranges significantly from piece to piece each creating an undeniable stance in a shockingly bold collection.

Whether it’s models sporting outlandishly styled leggings or countless types of jackets Margiela’s looks are always created with full completion.

Christian Lacoix Spring 2009

Legendary designer has outdone himself again, always finding new ways to amaze. Unfortunately, most of the clothing is not wearable, but the eye make up in this collection is def worth copying (emerald green and black, great combo).
