MODEL MUSING: Parker Hurley

Edited by

The affable and charming Parker Hurley hails from a town in South Jersey that, as he puts it, has more cows than people; but in only two years he’s managed to climb to the top of the male model heap thanks to his classic leading man looks and the careful stewardship of his agent, John Babin. Just recently he was named as one of the “Top 100 Faces of 2011” by Client Magazine. I met up with Parker at his home away from home, Red Model Management, to discuss his favorite photograph, by Dima Hohlov for E&A Magazine.

Whenever I take up a new sport or activity, I like to immerse myself in the culture of the people and their lifestyle. Skateboarding has an incredibly different sub-culture to anything I have encountered before, in fact it seemed as though my life was turned upside when I began meeting and interacting with other skaters. I went from deciding what I would order from the Donna Karen AW Collection to deciding which Roxy tees would be most maneuverable in.

The skies are a little darker now that one of its brightest stars has ceased to shine — Dame Elizabeth Taylor died today. In addition to a buttload of grandkids, she leaves behind a legendary film canon. TRENDSPARK: Coors Original

TRENDSPARK: Coors Original

Men’s Style posted an amazing article today that I am 100% backing. Due to my affinity for Coors Original, I was so excited to see such a renowned fashion site joining my side. Though many will say it has to do with me being “bridge and tunnel”, I think it has something to do with something completely different. The fashion world has unfortunately lost a lot of its masculinity in the recent past, and I think that there is going to be a solid push to bring that back in the near future, and there is nothing more manly then an ice cold Coors Original. So while all you Upper East Siders have your pansy ass martinis higher in the air than your noses, I’ll be the one in the corner with a Coors Original talking sports and looking good doing it.

Plus, I’m convinced the late Paul Newman had Coors Original for blood, and he was a huge badass!

Check out the “Original” article by Men’s Style here, it’s a good one!
