What is the point of fashion if you can’t have fun with it? British designer, Christopher Kane, revisited his youth as inspiration for his Spring 2009 collection. The prehistoric themes from The Flintstones and Planet of the Apes dominated the runway as Kane showed bright animal prints, 3-D scalloped “scales”, stegosaurus platforms and even gorilla photo prints! His ingenious collection, both young and flirty, was quite the impressive style for such a young designer. Yabba-dabba doo!
