Katie Grand -the former editor of Pop Magazine is never afraid of high fashion, and why should she be?

Not only is she wearing a wooly mammoth fuschia pink Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2009 coat, but she also has Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 bunny ears, as a hair accessory.

Her amazing look is complete with Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 heels and a sparkling pink – barely seen – dress.

Daphne deal goes POP. Oh silly internet, how you lie.

Let me start out by saying that I find Drew Barrymore incredibly photogenic. And I don’t think you should stop doing magazine covers just because you’re over 30. And I’m down with Pop.

But I don’t find Drew much of a fashion muse, and I don’t know why Alasdair McLellan would agree to shoot such an unimaginative story for Pop’s 20th anniversary / animals / winter issue. On one hand, a casual look in an interesting choice for such a high-profile celebrity, and Drew looks cute; but… it’s a tad lacking.

Katie Grand’s departure from POP magazine means more than just a new editor for the 8 year old magazine, it means a final shovel to the face for the flailing magazine.  Hint reports that the initial deal to keep the magazine going has “hit a snag” and POP will finally burst.

On a side note, Katie’s biannual for Conde Nast UK finally has a name and that name is LOVE.  Hmm a fashion magazine names LOVE from the creator of POP.  One named wonders seem to be the dish dejour for the UK this fashion season.  Expect LOVE to hit shelves in March.

Fashion forward magazine, Pop, has created six amazing Fall issue covers.  Also similar to Italian Vogue, Pop features women of color. Each cover features a different iconic model: Jourdan Dunn, Naomi Campbell, Agyness Deyn, Oluchi Onweagba, Natalia Vodianova and Amber Valletta grace the covers, in Prada. The issue pays homage to the 80’s era and moreover the fabulousness of 80’s fashion culture. The culmination of stunning supermodels and love for Studio 54 should make this issue it’s best yet! Pick up a copy!

Agyness Deyn just went from hero to zero in my book. After completely redeeming herself at her DJ party on Thursday night, pictures of Agyness’ photo shoot for POP Magazine surfaced and I am back to mocking her again. The shoot consisted of Agyness Deyn jumping off a second story fire escape completely naked! This was her first ever completely nude photoshoot and for the way she looks above, well I’m hoping she got paid quite a bit of money. The single nipple ring and bleached pubes (probably got a deal when she dyed her hair) look awful from two stories, I feel bad for her boyfriend Anthony Ellis who has to see them up close and personal on a regular basis. The intensity and lack of coordination is displayed beautifully by the look on her face. I can’t wait to see the final product just to see how photoshopped and edited they are.
