Funny thing is… the guy who bought Sex.com had no clue how he wanted to “position” the site. He’s had offers for “partnerships.” But which “angle” should he “take advantage of” to “penetrate” the market?

The last company that owned Sex.com (Escom LLC) went bankrupt — they couldn’t turn a profit. And, a minor detail — $13 million is the most ever paid for a domain.

The clock is ticking. What will the owner of Sex.com do? (May I suggest something having to do with sexual intercourse?)

What are we supposed to do over Xmas break?!

Craigslist canned its “Adult Services” in September after 24-year-old Philip Markoff was accused of using the site for murder and robbery, subsequently committing suicide. Now the “list named Craig” has pulled the plug on its Erotic Services worldwide.

While annoying, that’s respectable by my book.

The site’s services were expected to generate $36 million this year – almost one-third of Craigslist’s total income. Good gawd! $36 million could buy so many shoes.

We’ve been getting a lot of slack lately for pushing the envelope in terms of the types of spreads we feature. Our answer is always the same “It’s Only Fashion.” Well it seems like another publication is getting some negative attention for showing a bit more skin than is deemed acceptable by the censors.

V Magazine has been listed as PORNOGRAPHY on searches produced by Google. What this means is that the dotcom for one of my favorite magazines is banned on nearly 50 million computers which use Net Nanny’s across the web. I get that their content could be a bit risque at times, but catergorizing this publication with the likes of Playboy, Hustler, and Barely Legal seems like a bit of a stretch Google.

It seems the Miley Cyrus Backgate scandal is far from over. A new controversy is quietly underway in Smallsville, America as angry consumers have begun debating and demanding removal of recent K-Rock ads featuring womens backs tattooed with popular rock bands.

The “explicit” photos have caused a stir as some question the appropriateness of “Back Pornography” on billboards and public locations.

Are people taking fucking stupid pills lately?!?  First Miley Cyrus gets lampooned for posing 1/2 topless and now this!!! When did the female back become the new porno?

As a man, I personally don’t see the need for women to feel ashamed, which is the natural response when townies start saying that photos of your nonsexual bits are pornographic, of their backs!!! In fashion, the backless dress has been a statement of sexuality and femininity. No one bats an eye when men go “topless” and the image of the muscular mans back has been used in art and advertisement for centuries. Have we litterally gone insane in our interpretation of what’s pornography?  Is the back the new porno?
