Where did it all go wrong?

And when something rocks the foundation of their relationship, it also rocks your belief in real celebrity love. The love that’s more glamorous and probably a lot better-looking than regular people love. It’s even worse when it happens to couples you think have got it all figured out. I’m still reeling from Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon‘s break-up years after the fact. And if Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson ever divorce, or Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn stop doing whatever the hell they’re doing, I’m going to be inconsolable…for a period of time.

Not that Heidi Klum and Seal are in the Hanks-Wilson league, but news that Heidi is planning on filing for divorce from her loving water mammal after almost seven years of marriage — an eternity really, for while bright and hot, celebrity love burns out ever so quickly — still fills me with a pang of regret.  According to TMZ, Klum is citing “irreconcilable differences” and will file the papers as early as next week.

Klum and Seal’s elaborate Halloween costumes, yearly vow renewals and rabbit-like breeding  – seriously, when has Heidi not been pregnant on a season of Project Runway? — always pointed to signs of a stable (by celebrity standards) and happy marriage. And now it’s all — allegedly — coming to the end. Sigh. I just wanted those two crazy kids to stay togetha’.

What was your journey on Project Accessory like? How did it feel to make it all the way to the end?

Like everyone from the show has said, it was a total roller coaster. One second I was super happy with my design, then I would look around the room and feel intimidated and second guess myself. As far as highs and lows of the coaster ride, the first day I swore I was going home, so you can imagine how great making it to the final two felt!

Have you always wanted to create jewelry?

I was always a creative person, always inventing something to make. I played around with some jewelry, which when I see it now I can’t help but laugh, but hey, you have to start somewhere. But it wasn’t until I took a metal-smithing class in college I decided this was what I wanted to do.

What are your inspirations for your upcoming collection?

I’m really bringing it home this year. I’m always looking out to find inspiration, but my Miami girl roots are really coming through for this next line. I’m really feeling the beach but the earthy side of it. Industrial diamonds pulling the color from our sands, Apatite for our unmistakable ocean – I love it. I’m really excited for this line. It’s my favorite to date!

What owning this book says about you: “Sure, I’m a slob, but at least I’m willing to admit it, dammit.” Gunn truly offers a lot of useful style tips from dressing for your particular body shape to organizing your closet, even how to walk like a friggin’ lady. Think of him as the Professor Higgins to your Eliza Dolittle.

What will people say?: “Money can’t buy you class, what makes you think this book can?” Timbo is nothing if not practical — perhaps a little too practical — and he lets you know from the get-go that this book isn’t supposed to change who you are, just improve and enhance. It’s not like you’re going to go from Guidette to Countess after thumbing through, but if you need to know the difference between Black Tie, White Tie and California Casual, both you and your friends could benefit from Gunn’s guidance.

How this book will make your fashion brain grow: Alongside the sartorial tips, Gunn adds a plethora of fashion facts and historical figures that take this above and beyond your usual self-help book. As incredible as it seems, I hadn’t even heard of Deeda Blair, one of Tim’s childhood heroines and the most likely inspiration for Cruella de Vil, before now.

Heidi Klum will be portrayed by Angela Lindvall. The role of Nina Garcia will be played by Marchesa‘s Georgina Chapman. Joanna Coles, editor-in-chief of Marie Claire will star as mentor-in residence Tim Gunn. And returning to the fashion reality competition show stage is Isaac Mizrahi as Michael Kors. Guest judges will include Diane von Furstenberg, Miranda Kerr, Miss Piggy, Pharrell Williams, Nanette Lepore, Rachel Roy, Catherine Malandrino, and Mark Badgley and James Mischka.

The All-Stars in question are past Runway contestants who weren’t quite up to snuff, such as Austin Scarlett, Sweet P, Kara Janx and that much-reviled whiny copycat, Kenley Collins. Personally, I stopped watching Project Runway as soon as it hopped from Bravo to Lifetime,  deciding along the way that a season in L.A. was a good idea, but this new spin-off series could bring some much-needed fresh air into the franchise.

The All-Stars will compete for a handsome set of prizes, the most lucrative in Runway history: “an exclusive designer boutique in select Neiman Marcus stores and on neimanmarcus.com; $100,000 in technology and office space to help expand their business from HP and Intel; $100,000 cash from L’Oréal Paris; a feature spread in Marie Claire, for which he or she will serve as a guest editor for one year, and a sewing and embroidery studio provided by Brother International.” Well, at least they made returning to the scene of one’s former and very public embarrassment suitably enticing.

What you’re thinking: I’ve got places to go, people to fire, careers to kill and not enough time to worry about getting my goddamn photo taken. But as a fashion professional, I’m never caught with my palazzo pants down so take your goddamn pic and get outta my goddamn way, trash.

What you’re doing: Spotting the photog out of the corner of your eye while pretending not to see him and stomping by in a controlled rush to be properly preserved.

According to a profile in New York Magazine, Kors met LaPere in 1990 when the latter joined the former’s company as an intern. They fell in love while in Paris over quesadillas and cranberry juice and now their fairytale romance– emphasis on the fairy — will get its happy ending.

However, don’t expect Kors to diva out on an opulent wedding:

“Lance and I are very excited to finally be able to have the opportunity to marry in our home state after many years together. We have no plans for a major party, but we will be getting married privately.”

I hope one of the challenges on Project Runway — that show’s still on, right? — this season will be creating Kors’ wedding gown, only for him to deride it as “something Vera Wang threw up in the 80s.” [WWD]

Hailee Steinfeld

The changing of the guard at any house is bound to cause some ripples –  a loss of both footing and vision — and considering the immense talent Gaytten is following, it’s understandable he would want to assert his own voice into the Dior lexicon.

Gaytten’s voice was, however, lost in translation, producing one of the sloppiest and most incoherent couture shows I’ve seen in a while.

Granted, I’m observing, much like you, from my laptop thousands of miles away and thus the intricacies of the gowns are lost on me. Still, with haute couture, particularly with Dior Haute Couture,  there’s a brilliance that shines through in spite of the viewer’s distance or technical knowledge.

No doubt the pieces were brilliantly and painstakingly constructed by one of the most, if not the most, talented atelier in the world, but without Galliano’s influence there’s no clear identifying vision.

Instead, there are garish colors thrown together rather haphazardly with even more garish prints; an abundance of overworked and unfinished taffeta, gazar and organza that just ended up looking messy; and a jarring lack of cohesion that only hinted at the Dior aesthetic without fully realizing it.

If not for the big budget and even bigger name behind it all, this show could easily be mistaken for a graduate show from FIT or, even worse, a Project Runway finale collection.

Though the Christian Dior aesthetic was lost on its own couture show, it was certainly found by Giambattista Valli.

In his couture debut, Valli presented a beautiful collection heavy on the drama and on Old Hollywood, two Galliano trademarks that Valli managed to make his own. Hopefully Sidney Toledano and Bernard Arnault, the head honchos at Dior and parent company LVMH respectively, were paying attention.

Just like our Mother Monster, I am my hair. It’s all the glory that I bear. Well, as I slept in a tent and rolled around in dirt for days on end at Bonnaroo, my hair and I both became one dirty hippie. My battle plan for my hair was avoidance; I wrapped it in headscarves, hats and the likes as I determinedly kept it from touching any skin at all. Inevitably, it molded itself into a giant matted dread in the back of my head. Enter famed master hair stylist Peter Butler, or rather I entered the Garnier Fructis Tent on Sunday of Bonnaroo, for a deep conditioning hair washing.

Wow! Pure glory. That was the most ecstatic hair washing of my life. And the most drastic difference from before to after. Not so dreadful anymore.

Recognize the man behind the hair? Peter Butler is not only in the commercial for Garneir, but also a consultant on Project Runway. Last I saw, he was styling Cindy Crawford’s hair. So, many thanks to Peter for even touching my Bonnaroo hair.

- Carine Roitfeld is coming out with a 400-page book entitled Irreverent! (I love when an “!” is included in the name) that lists among its contributors, Olivier Zahm, Cathy Horyn and (brace yourself) Anna Wintour. [Styleite]

- On a sad note, noted rap singer Nate Dogg has died at 41. In honor of him, my favorite quote from his classic duet with Warren G, “Regulate”: “If you know like I know then you don’t want to step to this’ It’s the G-Funk era, funked out with a gangsta twist/ If you smoke like I smoke then you’re high like everyday/ And if your ass is a buster, 213 will regulate.” Good night, sweet prince. Stephanie Seymour (July 23, 1968) As a muse for the late Richard Avedon, Stephanie Seymour created some of the best fashion photographs of the 90s, then upped the iconic ante when she strolled down the aisle as Axl Rose‘s bride (the two were dating at the time) in Guns and Roses‘ classic “November Rain” video. Though supermodels appearing in music videos was nothing new in 1992, very few looked as perfect as Seymour in that epic wedding dress. Perhaps a little too rock & roll for a royal wedding, but I would at least consider it, Kate Middleton.

Claudia Schiffer (Aug. 25, 1970) Reminiscent of a young Bridget Bardot, Claudia Schiffer’s sultry good looks catapulted her to supermodeldom in the early 90s. Though she made a comeback in a series of gorgeous ads for Salvatore Ferragamo in 2007, don’t expect to see Schiffer on a runway anytime soon; the German stunner maintains that she’s “very shy.” I’m the same way until I get a little liquor in me, hence, we just need to booze up Claudia and throw her — heels first — onto that catwalk. ASAP.

Heidi Klum (June 1, 1973) The ultimate Victoria’s Secret Angel, Klum hung up her wings for good in 2010 to focus on her thriving businesses: in addition to producing the Peabody Award-winning Project Runway (yeah, Heidi Klum has a Peabody), Klum has tried her hand at design, acting, painting not to mention re-populating the world with the help of her virile husband Seal…seriously, Heidi’s been pregnant nonstop for like the past ten years. I’m just going to say it, someone needs to separate those two.

Kate Moss (Jan. 16 1974) The kittenish face of “Heroin Chic,” Kate Moss’ arrival in 1990 sparked a sweeping change in the world of modeling. The glamazons of the 80s and early 90s now seemed outdated compared to the 5’7 Moss when she appeared in The Face magazine, shot by the late Corrine Day. Notoriously private — she rarely gives interviews — Kate Moss is still the most ubiquitous face in modeling of the past twenty years. As a regular in ad campaigns and a favorite muse for many photographers, Moss also practically owns the cover of British Vogue. Despite her amazing career, Kate has had her share of ups and downs…both fueled heavily by cocaine.

Tyra Banks (Dec. 4, 1973) Tyra Banks started off a rail-thin high fashion model before morphing into a voluptuous swimsuit cover girl, then a Victoria’s Secret Angel, then a fat-ass Emmy-winning talk show host and the professional smizer/creator of the now international Top Model series; in short, she is the ultimate model as mogul. And while I and a generation of other girls have learned everything we know about modeling from Ms. Banks (admittedly it took me a while to figure out how to find my light), she still has a few tricks up her sleeve (or in this case, turban), such as this shot from Vogue Italia’s iconic “Black Issue.”

Gisele (July 20, 1980) The last of the true supermodels, Gisele came along during the wave of Brazilian bombshells in the late 90s. With her athletic body and distinctive horse trot, she’s stayed at the top of the model heap for the past ten years, earning the one-name recognition to which all supers are entitled. Though there are several heirs to the throne (Karlie Kloss, Chanel Iman, Coco Rocha, Hilary Rhoda, Agyness Deyn, Anja Rubik, Jessica Stam, the list goes on and on…), the queen is not abdicating anytime soon.

RPDR:3 is basically what happens when you take the bastard child of America’s Next Top Model, Project Runway and American Idol, throw a wig on it and let it run free in size 12 heels on subscription cable.

Last night’s episode, “The Queen Who Mopped Christmas”  introduced us to the 13 queens who would compete for the title of “America’s Next Drag Superstar.”

Before they could even put down their purses, Ru showed up to give them their first challenge: a photo shoot with super hunky photog  and A-Lister Mike Ruiz. The queens had to jump for their love, posing on a trampoline while making it look both easy and sexy. The winner of the challenge was Raja, a lanky lady whose style will make you go Gaga.

Tyra would be proud.

The contestants were then given $50 and 10 minutes at a thrift store to find pieces that would go into creating their best holigay couture. Amidst a sea of shade and despite a breakdown or two, the queens got their tucks together in time for the runway.

Wilhelmina Slater herself, Vanessa Williams joined PJ Runway alum Santino Rice, Michelle Visage (Ru’s old co-host on 90′s relic, The RuPaul Talk Show) and Mike Ruiz (with guest Santa, Bruce Villanch) to judge the queens on who best embodied the principles of CUNT – Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent.

Raja won again, this time with a look reminiscent of Vivienne Westwood and a walk that would put most supermodels to shame. Meanwhile Venus D-Lite and season 2 cast-off Shangela had to lip-synch for their lives to Vanny Williams’ own “The Right Stuff.”

Things got a little ugly — eyelashes and wigs flying everywhere — and though Shangela was the first to be eliminated the last time she hit the stage, she proved the better woman this time around and Venus had to sashay…away.

Raja is clearly the front-runner for RPDR:3, but my money might be on one Ms. Manila Luzon who gives epic face.

This promises to be a fierce season, full of the backstabbing, weave-pulling and bitch-slapping that the best of reality TV can only aspire to. Welcome back, Ru. And may the best tranny…

Link Love: RuPaul’s Drag Race

Irina Shabayeva, winner of Project Runway season 6 (my, they are adding up, what are we on, 8? 9?), fine tuned her inherent eye and deep desire for designing forward thinking womenswear at Parsons. Her look is winning on the red (blue) carpet, and you can expect to see more this season of awards.

Molly Sims

Sims got her start as a Victoria’s Secret runway model, but soon transitioned to a Sports Illustrated bikini babe and is best known as a Cover Girl model and for her peppy Old Navy ads. In 2009 Sims launched a line of jewelry, Grayce by Molly Sims, sold on graycebymollysims.com. It has taken off, and now sells through Henri Bendel and a handful of boutiques, including Scoop, Ron Herman and Matches London. Items in her new collection retail for between $135 and $795 (at full price). Sims also starred for five years on NBC’s Las Vegas, and has appeared in various big-screen titles.

Elizabeth Hurley

The former Estée Lauder model, now 45, launched a swimwear line, Elizabeth Hurley Beach, in 2005; it now includes tunics, sarongs, shorts and kids’ wear. In 2009 she began manufacturing food products with ingredients grown on her 400 acres in the Gloucestershire countryside. Elizabeth Hurley Food’s organic snack line is sold at London retailer Harrods. Hurley raises her own pigs, cows and sheep at her farm, and sells their shanks at butchers across Britain. She recently partnered with Prince Charles’ organic food company, Duchy Originals, though the new line has yet to hit stores.

Cindy Crawford

The original supermodel, now 42, known for her Clairol and Pepsi campaigns, among others, had a hugely successful line of workout videos. In 2005 she partnered with HM Richards on an eponymous line of home furniture, sold through retailers like Rooms to Go, Art Van and Raymour & Flanigan. She recently partnered with JCPenney to sell a home décor line and a mid-range jewelry collection, One Kiss. She also has a line of anti-aging skincare, Meaningful Beauty, and a branded shoe collection sold through European retailer Deichmann. Crawford still strikes a pose for the likes of Omega Watches and Russian department store TSUM.

Elle Macpherson

In 1990 Elle “The Body” Macpherson, best known for her record five Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition covers, teamed with Bendon Limited Apparel to create an eponymous line of intimate wear, now a global seller. The line, which includes maternity bras as well as lingerie, has been so successful that the bombshell now out-earns her best years as a supermodel, with an estimated yearly $10 million paycheck. Now 47, Macpherson also has a line of skincare, The Body, sold in Europe. MacPherson took over as the host of Britain’s Next Top Model, and also serves as executive producer.

Marissa Miller

The Victoria’s Secret Angel has also graced the cover of the 2007 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Fashion clients have included Marc Jacobs, Tommy Hilfiger, DirecTV and True Religion jeans. In 2008 she launched a shoe line with skateboarder/surfer-oriented company Vans. In 2009 Harley-Davidson made Miller, 32, its first ever brand face; a co-branded clothing line is in the works. This year she became a “First Mate” for Captain Morgan Spiced Rum (playing the captain’s sexy sidekick in a viral video and commercial) and an NFL spokeswoman. In 2010 she designed a women’s paddle-up board for Surftech; it comes in pink and purple and bears the model’s name.

Erin Wasson

Since 2002 this former Victoria’s Secret beauty has been the face of Maybelline in print and TV ads worldwide. In spring 2009 she dovetailed her love of surfing and fashion by launching a line of eponymous beach-inspired women’s apparel through skating and surfing lifestyle company RVCA. Wasson also partnered with Mouawad (Heidi Klum’s jewelry partner) to brand a collection of chain-inspired jewelry, LowLuv, now sold in dozens of boutiques in the U.S, Canada, Europe and Japan. She is also an investor in 100 Lafayette, a hip New York City dance club. She recently raised $12,000 in an hour for Best Friends animal sanctuary by selling her designer cast-offs.

Heidi Klum

The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model turned Victoria’s Secret Angel hung up her wings in September 2010 after 13 years with the lingerie giant. Ipanema by Gisele, a line of sandals with Grendene, a Brazilian sandal maker, is available in 80 countries; her take from the 30 million pairs sold in 2009: about $8 million. Bündchen also owns a hotel, the Palladium Executive, in Brazil. Last year she founded Sejaa, an environmentally friendly skincare line.

We all know there was an odd void when Project Runway was moved to Lifetime and Bravo was sans a fashion reality competition.  Last year they tried to feed us The Fashion Show and I know that every self respecting fashion lover was not about it.

When the ads for this season of The Fashion Show came up first I was a little apprehensive but the more clips of Iman I saw, the better. I saw the first episode and was pretty pleased. I hate the stereotypes but all my favorites were included such as The Villian, Cute Straight Guy, Sassy Black Girl, and Boy Who Looks Like a Girl.

I was so moved by the first episode to check out the 2nd that aired last night. SHIT WENT DOWN! There was drama, quitings, sucess, and failures. Not to mention Iman saying the best line of the night: “That dress had more tricks than a hooker!”

Good job Bravo you have me hooked!

Over a month ago, when I had the pleasure of witnessing Project Runway‘s finale show firsthand, I didn’t think Gretchen had a snowball’s chance of winning. Maybe my brain had turned to mush after sitting through 75 minutes of decoy collections, but her crunchy-granola take on tribal just seemed so…boring. It left me cold.

On the other hand, I thought Andy South‘s collection was elegant, romantic yet slightly hard, and vaguely reminiscent of his beloved Yohji Yamamoto. Sure, it didn’t have any of his dominatrix/warrior princess edge, but why can’t something just be LOVELY, god damnit? Naturally, the judges hated it and counted Andy out of the running entirely.

Mondo’s collection, on the other hand, I loved from start to finish. I am not a print girl in my daily life, and I don’t really go for whimsy…but the moment his first look walked down the runway, all of Lincoln Center seemed captivated. His prints are wild and could become costumey with a less skilled hand, but his tailoring was so sharp and clean that it still looked refined.

Not so, sayeth Michael Kors and Nina Garcia. They lambasted him for being too “circusy” and skewing towards a “junior market,” remarks which led to the best. Project Runway. Catfight. Ever.

Lasting a whole 20 minutes–unheard of in reality TV–Michael and Nina duked it out with Jessica and host Heidi Klum, Team Gretchen and Mondo respectively. Team Gretchen was pleased that the designer, once written off as too “Birkenstocks,” styled her models a bit higher-end and more luxe, and they applauded her hand-forged (by other hands) metal jewelry. Heidi, however, correctly pointed out that no consumer wants to buy a top and have to buy the accoutrements necessary to make it fashionable.

Boxing gloves out, the tie was somehow broken and Gretchen takes home the prize. Ultimately, the judges said she was “current” and speaks to what modern women want to wear today.

I’ll let Mondo sum up my feelings in his exit interview. “You know, I was just really, really shocked…Gretchen, it was mundane, it was kinda one idea.” Yep. Guess Tim Gunn was right when he said the judges were smoking crack this season.

Running across town to catch the bizarre Tim Gunn at the Liz Clairborne for JCPenny fashion show at the Manhattan mall, you could say that the only thing on my mind was the judging process of my outfit from top to bottom and happily getting filled under “The Tim Gunn Shit List” of worst interview outfits ever.

Obviously everyone knows no outfit is possibly good enough for the day you meet the one and only Tim Gunn. That is until I found out that beneath this designer judging, sharp tongued guru lies an all around nice guy.  Shocking?!?

So I officially got my five minutes to cram the most important questions on everyones mind:

NV: Recently you’ve been getting a lot of attention from your criticism on Anna Wintour and Taylor Momsen, when did you become fashion’s watchdog?

TG:  I wouldn’t call myself the watchdog. I just simply stated that Taylor is very unprofessional and disrespectful. I spent a day with these celebrities and the whole time instead of running lines, Taylor was on her BlackBerry. I just think that if you’re doing your job, you need to do it right with no distractions.

NV: So who else falls under the Tim Gunn Shit List?

TG: Well for that you’re just going to have to read my book.

NV: Who are the genuine people you love in this industry?

TG: Diane Von Furstenburg, Michael Kors

NV: Is there one designer from Project Runway you’d want to bring into the Liz Clairborne Family?

TG: No I wouldn’t do that, or no one specifically, I think that everyone from there is special in doing what they’re good at making.

After completing the interview the fashion show took place showing the new and very versatile Liz Claiborne collection for JCPenny, following up with a Tim Gunn Q&A, which he surprisingly answered more questions than I could count.

In the end it really goes back to showing that Tim Gunn really does know what he’s talking about every now and then.

“All good things have to come to an end,” Klum told Page Six at Paris Fashion Week. “I will always love Victoria’s Secret. It has been an absolutely amazing time.”

Sources say she’s quitting to make more time for Project Runway and her new fitness clothing line. The questions is, who will be winged head angel this fall?

“We did get always a few complaints from people that they wanted to see a little bit more, which we were obviously very excited about,” said Heidi. “So now we have half an hour more.”

And what’s more, the show is moving to the 9 pm time slot on Lifetime – so double check that your DVRs are set to record!

Christian Siriano is the youngest winner of Project Runway. He is a fantastic designer and incredible personality. He has managed to take his career further then any other winner and has produced collections that we anticipate season after season. We chatted with Christian about his new show ‘Having a Moment’ (which airs tonight), future projects, and much more.

Who inspired you to work in fashion?
I don’t think it was ever anyone specific, I just loved fashion, clothing, hair, make-up, style, etc… and I knew it was a business and industry that I wanted to learn as much as I could.

Best moment of your career so far?
Wow, I have had a lot of dream moments that have come true. Showing a collection each season is a pretty great moment each season. Going to Victoria Beckham’s house for a private fitting was a nice moment and I think waking up one morning to Rihanna in my dress was also a great moment in my career.

Can you tell us what projects you are working on next?
I am really working hard to grow my business and brand. I have already started my next collection, collecting fabrics, new shoe ideas for my collection for Payless and I’m even working on a fun new bridal collection.

Tell us about your show “Having a Moment”?
The show is really simple, it’s not planned at all it was just two cameras following me and my team around during fashion week and it’s just to show what it takes to create a collection and build a business. I think people will learn a lot from this episode and they also will see that there is life after project runway.

Who would you love to do a collaboration with?

I would love to do collaborations with a massive clothing retailer and the list is long, but that will have to wait until I grow my other clothing business.

What is your typical day like?
It isn’t always that exciting, I come into my studio and face all the problems of selling a collection to stores all over the world, which always keeps me on my toes, and I will work with my factories for a few hours a day and the team in house. Some days we will be making wedding gowns the others could be for a celeb who knows every day is different that’s what is so great about this business you never know what will happen.

What did you learn during your internships that you still use?
I learned everything I could. I think the most is how to treat your staff and how to never stress over the small things. It’s better to spend the time resolving the problems rather then talking about them all day.

What sets you apart from the other Project Runway winners?
I think drive, ambition and aesthetic!

What advice would you give to young designers?
I think the best advice to give is to love what you do and to find that one item that you really perfect. Meaning start small and then build your brand from that one item or product.

Episode #11 kicked off with a challenge made completely for the judges. The task: create a red carpet look for Heidi Klum. Naturally, all the designers freaked out at the idea of Heidi wearing one of their designs, but Maya definitely took the candle as she bowed out of the competition. That’s just the first bit of drama for episode 11. Seth Aaron’s model bails, Anthony returns, and when it’s all said and done Anthony and Emilio emerge victorious as Jonathan is sent home.

Recovering from the partner challenge last week, the designers were forced to be even more unique than usual in episode #10. They had to create their own fabrics and patterns! Despite Tim’s lack of approval, the judges loved Emilio’s print and he was deemed winner for the third time in the competition. And the beloved Anthony was sent home for having too many excuses and not enough design tactics.

All of season seven’s designers geared up for Campbell’s AdDRESS your heart foundation last night. We were introduced to ten new women, who had all been affected by heart disease, as the designers were each assigned to one as their model. The challenge: create an evening gown look for an event for the Campbell’s program. The winner’s  design would be worn to the event and sold on projectrunway.com. As the ladies hit the runway we saw some trashy, some elegant, and a whole lot of red. Amy Sarabi took the prize with her flowy red gown, while Jesus Estrada was given the boot for his short, tight number, equip with rhinestones,  and his overall poor taste.

Project Runway contestant from both season one and season two of the show popped up at the Los Angeles auditions of American Idol last night.

Although we did not hear him sing, we did get to hear him say that he is a combination of Adam Lambert and Susan Boyle.

I’m concluding that he was rejected and might be slightly addicted to appearing on reality television.
