David Lerner is made in New York City, everything from the man to the clothing. And the designer is as stunning as the clothing itself. His philosophy is to make women feel confident and sexy whether she’s at work or working out, pregnant or on the prowl. He’s got the New York color palette and boho vibes, and fuses a 1920s inspiration to his work, as that is the time when women became so empowered in the modern world. We picked his brain about design and his company.

This is a call to arms, to remove them from the narrow shafts of coat sleeves. Let them live with the rest of the body underneath a cape or a drape. The shape is free and flowing, the cuts are crafty and they’ve got a wrappable capacity that keeps you roasty toasty. As they say, keep the chest warm, the arms will take care of themselves.

Walking art installation, Rick Genest, aka Zombie Boy, is the feature editorial in Schön Magazine‘s October issue, wherein his signature tattoos are uncovered — then subsequently covered, with the use of make-up and/or de-zombieing cream — by photog Matthew Lyn. Stylist Kay Korsh, meanwhile, dresses the model-muse in Rag & Bone, John Galliano, Issey Miyake, et al. The effect of seeing Zombie Boy with (what looks like) actual skin peeking through might be a bit jarring, but then again, we’ve already seen the Boy before the Zombie.

Not a Queen, but in drag, Lord Gaga A.K.A Jo Calderone took the VMA stage last night to open the night with a testosterone induced version of You and I. Gaga’s 1950′s greaser alter ego comes with full pompadour and a drinking problem that we kind of want to get rowdy with. Get the cross-dressed look and relive that epic performance (with Queen’s guitarist! Brian May).

How’s this for a money-saver? Rag & Bone had four gorgeous models style and photograph themselves for the latest ad campaign. After hiring Edita Vilkeviciute, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Sasha Pivovarova and Lily Aldridge, the brand must have saved a bundle without a photographer and stylist. The verdict? Really hot ads that are selling me every thread.

Enough is enough already. I’m over it! I know it’s still only January, but seriously, more snow? Well, I’ll be damned if I’m getting me any more snow boots. I can taste Spring lurking ahead, so I want a shoe today that’s going to protect me in the snow AND take me through April showers.
