1. Invest in a good raincoat. There is nothing worse than arriving somewhere feeling cold, damp and gloomy. A good raincoat will keep you dry and never go out of style. Plus, they last for years if you take good care of them.

Enough is enough already. I’m over it! I know it’s still only January, but seriously, more snow? Well, I’ll be damned if I’m getting me any more snow boots. I can taste Spring lurking ahead, so I want a shoe today that’s going to protect me in the snow AND take me through April showers.

They’ll keep me solid inches above any residual precipitation lingering on the ground, but look light enough to satisfy summer dresses.
