Fall? More like Winter. I guess Hermes can do basically whatever they want: they already breed their own crocodiles, so I can’t really comment on them skipping one measly season. So now that I’ve accepted the snow covered state of these ads I have to say I’m a bit disappointed! Where are the wide shot gorgeous landscapes and large, striking animals Hermes is known for using in their campaigns? Maybe when the rest of the advertisements are released they will live up to my expectations.

Raquel Zimmerman bleached her hair, this beach shoot looks to be very interesting.  I’m really confused about what is going on around her ears, and it seems odd to have such a dirty looking beach, complete with seagulls, for a high fashion photo shoot.  But hey, I’m not Mert Alas or Marcus Piggott, and I’m sure the shoot with be gorgeous in next month’s Vogue Japan.  That dress is awesome.

Raquel Zimmerman is the star of the Sept issue of Vogue French. Shot by fame photographer Ryan McGinely and obtained by Gold Digger, this spread leaves us with much to question.

First, why is she wearing crocs in a Vogue issue? NY Mag also pointed this out, and we agree…Where was Carine Roitfeld when this was shot? Cuz even Lady Wintour wouldn’t allow this..

Secondly, why does she look like Milla Jovovich in Resident Evil? With cave like backgrounds and zombie like expressions.

Lastly, Raquel is one of the most beautiful and stunning models on the runway, so why did the photographer make her look so coked out? She clearly is not the best for this type of spread. I understand that she is a model and must have some diversity, but she looks like Cory Kennedy, which is never a good thing.

Most fashionstas remember the day when PETA had the nerve to through a pie in Anna Wintour’s face back in 05 for wearing fur. Now it’s payback time. Fellow French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld had backed her up, and featured a controversial spread by Mario Testino with Raquel Zimmerman posing in fur and saying NO to fur activists for the August issue of Vogue Paris. Wow! Being a fur lover myself, I fully support these gorgeous pics. Also, what is fashion but extravagance, and nothing says extravagant better than a full length fur coat.
