The former bouncer at Lavo had to keep a straight face while turning away disappointed club-goes, just because they had no style. As he loomed over the sea of Ed Hardy and Affliction tees, he realized there wasn’t a brand that catered to electronic dance music fans. It was at that moment HOUS was born. The t-shirt line uses humor and clever graphics to build a bridge between music and design and has already been worn by influential DJs, celebrities and tastemakers. Channel your inner raver and see both the men’s and women’s lookbooks after the jump.

<span

I should have been born a few years earlier to take full advantage of the blinding mess of 80s fashion. But neons can easily get out of control, especially when they take harsh drugs. Raver gear was a phase I saw a few of my friends go through. At a whopping 10 years of age, they, of course, were to young to be taking Ecstasy at all-night techno raves in someone’s unhygienic basement. But I reclined back and chuckled to myself while thinking how much they would eventually regret this foolish juncture. I can proudly say they have all grown out of wearing glow-in-the-dark jewelry and homemade pants with textile scraps from Jo-Ann fabrics. Glad to be burying this trend in the rancid fashion graveyard.
