Maloof, whose personal wealth is estimated at $300 million (how’s that for “VERY rich”?), has turned her shoe closet into an office where in the privacy of 500 shoes she works on building her brand. The shoes are only a stepping stone — pun intended — to other ventures Adrienne has in the works, including handbags, a clothing line, a lower-priced line of shoes and even her own reality show. “A source close to Richards” — ten bucks it’s Kim’s Demi Moore-esque younger sister, Kyle Richards —  told Star Magazine,“People involved with the show are concerned and might have to step in … friends and family don’t talk about what’s going on with Kim.” Anyone who’s watched season one of Beverly Hills knows that, according to Kyle, Kim is “a fucking liar” and an alcoholic. Apparently, Kim has even “admitted on the show to taking a cocktail of prescription pills, including Lexapro, Trazadone and Topamax.”

I’ve only seen this season sporadically, but homegirl is high as a kite. A kite on meth. But there’s a light at the other end of the tunnel for Kim Richards. And in that light is a book deal and maybe, if she plays her cards right, some fine editorial work.   [Radar]

Originally a nightclub in the 80s and 90s, the original Limelight closed about 10 years ago and went through a series of other nightlife reincarnations before the marketplace was born in May of last year.

I personally remember when Limelight was known as Avalon during my gay-underaged-college-partying days, though I’ve never been to the marketplace. Mostly because a.) I hate malls — especially in Manhattan; this isn’t Jersey, give me a storefront — and b.) it just sounded all kinds of bougie. And not in the fun, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills way.

But now that the bloom is off that rose, Menashe is changing direction and has already gutted some of that fancy dead weight: “We just actually terminated a bunch of tenants, so the whole main floor is being opened up now.” Heartwarming.

Along with the department store makeover, Limelight will also get an aesthetic makeover with a stronger fashion angle. The stainglass windows will be more visible thanks to all of those wiped out tenants, the walls will be darker, the lights will be dimmer but the DJ wil continue to play on.

Oh, yeah, there’s a DJ — leftover in a pile of glitter and cocaine from one of Amanda Lepore‘s orgiastic wild nights some ten years ago, no doubt.

By giving Limelight a darker, moodier atmosphere, Menashe hopes to “add a level of sophisticatedness to it, if that’s a word.” It’s not, but good luck anyway, Jack.

Originally, Bravo’s show was purported to be called From the Bottom to the Top.

I’ll just let that bit of information sink in.

However, newly appointed Executive Vice President of Bravo, Andy Cohen, popped that irreverent bubble with this tweet refuting the existence of the show. At least with that particular title.

Now Access Hollywood adds fuel to the fire with a cast list featuring a group of New York power gays known as The Plastics (since all gays never age emotionally past “15-year-old-girl”) which includes underwear model and  frequent object of my wet dreams affection, Christopher Fawcett.

My heart skipped a gay beat with news of Fawcett’s homo tendencies, but then immediately tripped, stumbled and fell after learning milliseconds later that he’s the boyfriend of one of the other cast members, interior designer Jordan Carlyle.

Who also happens to be insanely hot.

I mean, really, is this at all necessary?

Well, what are you gonna do? I mean, besides, instigate a coked-up threesome, videotape it, “accidentally” leak it online then parlay that into a regular stint as the sassy next door neighbor housewife who wrecks their relationship, then flips a table in the final episode for seemingly no reason other than the 6 Long Island iced teas that magically slipped and slid down my throat in the course of 2 hours.

Anygay. Bravo’s reality show has not yet been green lit for production, nor does it have a title, which hasn’t kept a jockstrap full of names from being tossed around : A-Gays, The Real A-List, VIP:GAY:NYC, The A-Team,  SocialistOs, The Real Househusbands of NYC, The Gay Gangs of NY.

I like The A-Team,  but only if it was changed to The Gay-Team and they cast Givenchy muse Lea T. in a starring role. Imagine: Mr./Ms. T.

Whatever this hypothetical show turns out to be and whenever it may be on air, I know one thing for sure: I’ll be tuning in. Because this is my idea of Must-See-T.V.

Rumor has it that Marc Jacobs might appear on the gay version of the show The Real Housewives of NY, called Kept. He previously stated that he would like to have his own realty show:  “all aspects of my life. All the drama, the intrigue, the sex, the romance, the work. I’m a shameless human being.”

Somehow Bravo got it in their head that it was a good idea to reproduce the trash-ion that the Real Housewives of Orange County, New Jersey, New York, and Atlanta wear.  Royal Plus has apparently agreed, and the two are teaming up to produce a Real Houswives-inspired line. I don’t even want to know what this might look like, but I’m sure it can be perfectly accessorized with a fake tan and big boobs. Thoughts?
