You know how sometimes you go to a party all dressed up and hope that someone takes your photo so that the next day it shows up on one of these awesome street style blogs? Well, at the Louis Vuitton party held at the Natural History Museum, Bill Cunningham stalked me and took hundreds of photos of my outfit, my darling shoes, and my miniature hat, all of which I bravely wore on the subway coming from the Bronx. I searched for days, almost weeks, to find at least a glimpse of myself on the NY Times Style section, to only today find my butt featured in a men’s style video…Of course, welcome to my life!

Diana Eng, of Project Runway fame, asked longtime friend Daniel Saynt to help with a few things for her book launch party and fashion show. Here we all are, frizzy hair and all (give me a break, it was rainy) at Diana’s event last Thur.

FI Editor Rebecca Alexander reinvents denim.

This past weekend we hit up Atlantic Avenue for a street festival which featured a woman attempting to pawn this off as mis-mosh of Salvation Army Calvin Klein’s and some cut of dress as a “high-fashion” jacket.

Rebecca decided to try it on and this Backstabber was born.

If saving the environment means wearing Frankenfashions like this, I’m opting for burning this mother fucking planet down.

The Wedding has passed, the Honeymoon is over, and Daniel Saynt and Rebecca Alexander are back home to bring you some of the daily bashes and fashion stories you have come to loveth. Thanks to everyone who shared your kind words during these past two weeks. The trip was a blast and we’re psyched to be married and back home.

I just thought I would let everybody know that Fashion Indie Creator Daniel Saynt and Editor-in-Chief Rebecca Alexander were married Saturday. Yes they are now bound together by law. Here are some photos of the beautiful nuptials.

Recently our beloved Editor Rebecca Alexander was asked to do an interview with Denim Therapy. Well, the article was written and is ready for all Rebecca’s amazing fans (and haters) to read. Believe it or not she isn’t the fashion snob that you all think she is. 

Alexander says that it’s okay to wear Levi’s or Gap jeans, as long as you feel confident and sexy, and they fit your body type. “My biggest pet peeve is seeing someone on the street who is wearing ill-fitting denim, like two sizes too small or big, or their butt crack is peaking.”
