Reebok just launched their new pop-up shop in the Bowery to commemorate their legendary “Pump” sneaker. As you can see from the images, the 3,000 square foot former gallery is inspired from the human highlighter colors from the 80’s. The shop is at 169 Bowery Street in the city, so be sure to stop in. I’m almost more interested in seeing the inside of the store in person then actually seeing what they are selling.

Reebok and Hasbro are on board to roll out an exciting new MONOPOLY inspired footwear collection in August 2008. Coinciding with the highly anticipated release of Hasbro’s MONOPOLY Here & Now: The World Edition board game, the MONOPOLY footwear collection by Reebok will feature a variety of different styles for toddlers, kids and adults available at select mall based retailers around the world.

Reebok’s design team took inspiration from the game pieces MONOPOLY is best known for, such as dice, tokens, Chance and Community Chest cards, houses and hotels, and MONOPOLY money, to create details for the laces, lace lock, prints, colors and the overall design element of the shoes.

Fashionista recently reported that sex kitten (Daniel’s words not mine) Scarlett Johansson won’t be the involved with Reebok anymore, guess she doesn’t have enough time to design since she has a wedding to plan for.  Rumor has it that another celeb is in the works for the collaboration, either Gwen Stefani, Jessica Biel, or Rihanna.
