Two of Fashion Indie’s favorites Katya Moorman and Ricardo Louis are teaming up for quite the little event. The two will be showing off their extensive work in both the Fashion and Nightlife scenes. Bottom line is that it’s going to be an amazing exhibition so get out to Brooklyn this Thursday and show some love, they are truly amazing people!
SPREAD: Tha Heights by Ricardo Louis

Don’t be fooled by their boyish looks, these guys are much more than just another boy band. Their repertoire consists of a wide range of songs to satisfy many taste, and diverse FASHION sense to match. These four Dominican young men embody the eclectic blend of Latin flavor that their Washington Heights, NYC neighborhood is known for….
they’ve coined it Latin Pop & B (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7anqtGAh80).
Photographed by famed fashion photographer Ricardo Louis during the Summer 2009 in New York City at the Night Hotel, these dapper Dominicans showcased the latest Fall 2009 trends without losing their individuality. Whether it’s high end couture, emerging designs, or casual- wear, Tha Heights are definitely the music AND fashion chameleons for the 21 century.
Be sure to check out more work by Ricardo on his website.

SPREAD UM: Brooke Jasmyn (Harlem Heights) By Ricardo Louis

Brooke from the reality show Harlem Heights was shot by Ricardo Louis, with styling by Lonnie Hall and MUA Ryan Butler.
Brooke’s story:
Love her or Hate her, Brooke does her thing and she does it well. She plays and dances to her own music. When it comes to style and fashion, she incorporates the sexy, focused, confident, and the bitch element into one. This is Brooke Jasmyn at her best: friendly, hard working, fun, assertive, and dismissive. Take it or leave it, she doesn’t care!!!
FASHION PORN: ‘Wild Boys’
One of our fave photogs, Ricardo Louis, who just happens to be a dear friend, just posted some sexy male model shots on Cult and these boys are HOT!

Fashion Indie teamed up with an amazing designer and friend of ours Bob from Brooklyn Royalty to try to raise a few extra dollars for Barack and his campaign. Apparently you indies run strong because the place was packed. We had kids registering to vote, buying limited edition Barack Obama tee shirts, and bidding on an amazing selection of silent auction prizes. However when the debate came on at 9, the place was silent and the crowd was focused on the bigger issue. Check out some of the amazing pictures our friend Rick Louis snapped at the party.
