The Jazz Age was in full swing at Etro where the Italian label’s namesake paisley print was barely recognizable. Veronica Etro turned to futuristic artist Fortunato Depero for Art Deco prints screaming with vivacity. The Chrysler Building even made an appearance.

Leave it up to Renzo Rosso to turn mix-matched textures, preppy patterns, oversized suits, seemingly stained bodysuits and teased out hair into the street cult we know and love. With elements of the Roaring Twenties, the lingerie-esque dresses, fish-net headgear, corseted sweaters and ankle-chocking tie-up boots were undoubtedly reminiscent of Lou Reed’s rebellious punker Velvet Underground. It’s about time someone pulled off the mix-matchy vibe this season!
