Mock turtlenecks and embroidered knits don’t usually come to mind when you think of Opening Ceremony‘s collections, but nautical inspirations from Morocco and the French Riviera brought out unconventional design details in the brand’s spring 2011 line.

Opening Ceremony has again collaborated with Pendleton and Robert Clergerie for the spring collection, which we’re ultra excited about. But even cooler, suit maker to President Obama Hickey Freeman is also designing for the brand. His suits will be in stores come November.

Rebecca has felt the need to make the entire Fashion Indie staff aid her in her search for the perfect oxford, and I think I have earned my place as the winner with this find. These Robert Clergerie oxford flats are the perfect oxford. So perfect that due to the unisex nature of this style of shoe, I am considering buying these for myself.
