Prada‘s new fashion film is practically dripping in Oscars…and probably some weird sexual kinks. Directed by Roman Polanski (guilty on both fronts), Sir Ben Kingsley plays psychiatrist to Helena Bonham Carter before shirking his shrink duties to drape himself in her Prada purple puffer jacket. It seems that Prada has given the doctor a fuzzy case of ADD in A Therapy

Yigal Azrouël‘s fall 2012 show was dedicated to the “unintentional beauty in mystery” refracted through the lens of a woman both “fearless in her outlook and quiet in her confidence.” And that woman might easily have been Evelyn Mulwray – the heroine from Roman Polanski‘s classic 70s film noir Chinatown – portrayed brilliantly by Faye Dunaway. To wit, Azrouël’s collection mixed the mystery of the film noir femme fatale with the luxe glamour of the 70s then threw a giant raccoon hat on top of it all.

Here is a great advertisement for ‘Greed’ a new perfume by Fransceso Vezzoli in which Natalie Portman and Michelle Williams engage in a fierce battle over said product.

Directed by Roman Polanski, this project’s goal is is to isolate and imitate the hype created by the promotion of a new luxury product in the mass market. Basically, a faux ad campaign for an imagined perfume.
