Beauty Fridays: Ruffian's Crescent Moon

Edited by

Ruffian F/W 2010I was going to title this post “Over the Moon” because that's how I feel about this manicure. It's stunning! Excess Baggage: Kooba Metallic, $315

I just spotted this Kooba Metallic Perforated Nelli Bag on Shopbop and it totally had me reminiscing about the Fall 2008 collections of some of my favorite indies.  The hard, cold metallic look with it’s industrial rivets reminded me of pieces spotted in Rag & Bone, Ruffian and Alexander Wang. You can check out the looks this bag would look great with below and then head over to Shopbop to pick up the bag on sale for $317.50.

Ruffian Plays Nice With Earnest Sewn

Edited by

Ruffian Plays Nice With Earnest SewnRuffian is taking over the back room at the Earnest Sewn store in the Meatpacking District. They will be selling their much sought after goods and installing a very worth checking out visual instillation with Anne Koch.

The theme: Boarding School Rebel.

No talks yet on whether Agyness will show up on opening day (she’s an avid fan of the brand) but there might be hopes to spot the over-exposed one at a party being held at Earnest Sewn to celebrate the opening. The parties on May 27th, which gives you ample time to shop for a pick up the perfect Ruffian outfit.
