Differences were noticed earlier this month when a “massive fight” happened allegedly based on Brand’s feelings on Perry’s parents and their beliefs.  The two were apart for the holidays with Brand in London and Perry in Hawaii with friends.  With a marriage that has lasted since October 2010, this is a record for Hollywood couples of late.  We feel bad for the two of them and hopefully things will work out smoothly with their non-prenup ridden separation.

The issue’s cover photograph, an extreme close-up taken by photographer Alexi Lubomirski, focuses on Perry’s red lips, which have been covered in 150 ruby-colored Swarovski Elements. In the Zinio edition, motion graphics create sparkle and shine and a behind-the-scenes video of Perry’s cover shoot.

In the December issue, out November 23rd, Perry gushes about new husband Russell Brand, who is apparently heaven-sent:

Since when has Russell Brand been a “man of God,” let alone a “great man of God?” Was it before or after he kicked the heroin addiction? Probably after, right? God, and court-ordered rehab, can do wonders.

Katy insists that she’s a good girl because “I really believe in love, integrity, and respect.” However, she also wants you to know that she’s a bad girl because “I like to tease.” And also because she has no gag reflex.

She goes on to say,  “I know that I have sex appeal in my deck of cards. But I like to get people think­ing. That’s what the stories in my music do.”

Yes, I remember those profound and provocative stories about “skin so hot it’ll melt your popsicle” and “kissing a girl just to try it.” And let’s not forget about waking up in Vegas. Charlie Sheen especially took that one to heart.

Perry looks great in her editorial — soft, feminine, ladylike — thanks to Alexi Lubomirski. She’s not fooling me, though. I don’ trust that Katy Perry.

She likes to play both sides of the field; good girl and bad girl, Christian and heathen, lady and the tramp. One has the feeling she’d sell her soul for a hit record, but then one realizes that she did when she dumped the Christian rock to explore faux lesbianism.

Katy Perry’s new ad for her fragrance, Purr, is just as silly as Katy Perry. The girl can really sing so I have no idea what why she resorts to stunts like this. That being said I sort of dig the whole motif.(Completely contradictory, I know)

Katy Perry celebrated her 25th bday at The Beach On Sunset in West Hollywood on Saturday night, the restaurant was reportedly transformed into Willy Wonka’s factory. Later that night, her dress looked more like her and bf Russell Brand duked it out at a paintball match…

By now I’m sure you’ve seen Russell Brand and Katy Perry canoodling at the John Galliano show, but what I saw was that trench he was wearing! Russell was repping his John Galliano at John Galliano.  Would it be awkward seeing the outfit you’re wearing walking down the runway?

I really loved him in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but I think he’s just becoming annoying. I get that he’s a comedian, but he seems to always be this rocker. Does he actually play music? I’m too dumb to get it I guess. He’s like Sasha Cohen, but his character doesn’t change. Damn Brits and their high-brow layered comedians.

Well Nylon Guys decided he was good enough for their Winter issue. Apparently people who make Disney kids comedies with Adam Sandler are worthy of your attention. Snore.

For those of you who don’t know who Russell Brand is, he is the English version of Dane Cook except he’s actually funny, and he dresses like a bad ass. Russell Brand has most recently been noted for his role in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and I will say there is something about his look that I do admire. His rocker attitude mixed with his English style is comes into a perfect mix when you look at him. He definately has a good stylist, and I can’t wait to see what they will have him draped in on the VMA’s in a few days, and if you haven’t seen Forgetting Sarah Marshall yet it comes out soon too, and it’s hilarious.
