The Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2010 womenswear collection was a feminized version of Sherlock Holmes. Suede trench coats, wide-leg wool slacks, pinstripe suits and umbrella fedora hats were among the mysterious and predominately masculine collection.

An oldie but a goodie, that’s what we consider Claudia Schiffer, is front and center (well, to the left) of the latest Salvatore Ferragamo campaign, shot by non other than Steven Meisel.

This may be my favorite Salvatore Ferragamo collection yet! Designer Massimiliano Giornetti introduced a rancher, Brokeback Mountain vibe complete with blanket-like jumbo scarves, leather work boots, cowboy plaid trenches and sheepskin coats. They’re all pieces that have been done before, but with such immaculate styling, this is collection to look towards for inspiration as well as styling ideas.

Ever since Jak & Jil posted these amazing Raf Simons “Spoiler” Loafers, I’ve been dying to get my hands/feet on them. Well indies, the winged kicks might not be as untouchable as you think, because I found them here, at Seven New York! Just over $1000, the 100% leather, Italian made loafers are double Salvatore Ferragamo prices, but oh, so amazing. Although Seven New York has the shoes listed under men’s, the shaven leg above indicates that these Raf Simons beauties can be worn by women too!
I’m currently not in the market to buy these bad boys, but if any of you are, be sure to send us a photo!

In true business man form, Salvatore Ferragamo has created a line for the everyday business man that is sure to have people turning their heads. The collection features some impeccable tailoring, and great color combinations. I love the overcoats and gloves used in the collection, they really are what makes this suck a great Fall collection.
