id="more-172799"></span>Even though she wasn&#8217;t even an idea in her parents&#8217; heads when the magazine started&#8211;in fact, the magazine folded by the time she was born&#8211;<strong>Tavi</strong> has teamed up with <strong>Jane Pratt</strong> (founder of <em>Sassy</em> and <em><strong>Jane</strong> </em>magazines) to create this generation&#8217;s thinking teen &#8216;zine.</p><blockquote><p>You guys may know <a

href="http://www.thestylerookie.com/2010/04/are-you-tired-of-sassy-yet-answer-is-no.html">feel</a> about Sassy. You also may know that I&#8217;ve been babbling about how I think our generation should get one, too. Jane Pratt, founding editor and then EIC of Sassy, also became aware, and emailed me, and we&#8217;ve met a couple times, and it looks like we&#8217;re going to start a magazine for an audience of wallflowerly teenage girls.</p></blockquote><p>The Style Rookie is quick to point out that this won&#8217;t be a reboot of <em>Sassy</em>, despite the 90&#8242;s being really hot right now. Instead, the publication will &#8220;use <em>Sassy</em> as a point of reference for the whole teen-magazine-that-doesn’t-suck thing.” Kudos to Tavi, who&#8217;s long kicked <em><strong>Seventeen</strong></em> magazine to the curb, for bringing back the creative, indie spirt that empowered so many girls of the era. An era she wasn&#8217;t privy to.</p><p><a
