THE TEN: Movies With The Best Style (That You May Not Have Considered)
There are thousands, no, probably millions of movies out there, and we definitely haven’t seen them all, but we’ve come up with a list of movies that we have seen that we think have awesome style. We aren’t going to be cliche and pick the ‘Sex and the City Movie,’ or ‘Breakfast At Tiffany’s’ because those are givens. These are just a few that you may not have thought of (in no particular order):
1. The Golden Compass- Nicole Kidman is so killer in this movie. All of the floor length, fur-lined coats and the glamourous dresses are to die for.
2. Loser- So much 90s grunge, so much goth from Mena Suvari, so many motorcycle pads. We love it.
3. Once Upon A Time In Mexico- Enrique pre-mole removal days+Johnny Dep post 21 Jump Street days = good movie. This is a great good cop, bad cop flick with Spanish-infused styling.
4. Romeo and Juliet- The prime Leo days, the costuming for this modern-day Romeo and Juliet film is flawless. Minus the sole patch
5. Rear Window- This is one of my favorite films ever, detection at it’s finest, and tons of old-school glamour (Grace Kelly is a dream!). This trailer isn’t too good, check out the film for the full effect
6. Black Dahlia- Old school glam, total pinup style. We love Scarlett Johansson in red lipstick.
7. Gangs of New York- Leo does it again! (and how sweet is that part when all of those guys have top hats on)
8. Cruel Intentions- Ultimate country club kids, plus Sarah Michelle Geller wears a ton of sexy lingerie.
9. Sky Captain- I’m a huge fan of women being badasses. Gwenyth is still total glam and sexy while being a badass, and Angelina is just, well, being as hot as she is in every other movie.
10. Domino-Kiera Knightly as a bounty hunter that still wears red lipstick despite being a total badass? Win.
11. Hedwig and the Angry Inch- We had to include one more on this list because Hedwig has the craziest rock-tranny style ever! Not only that, the members of ‘her’ band make great rock stars (for the 80s), and then there is her little goth boyfriend. All sorts of styles going on in this film, and all sorts of greatness
What films do you think have the best style?

ADDICT: Scarlett Johansson for Mango

Mario Sorrenti shot ScarJo for the latest Mango ads, she replaced Penelope and Monica Cruz.
Scarlett Johansson is the New Face of Mango
Scarlett Johansson has been tapped as the new face of Mango. Interesting choice considering their last spokesperson was Alice Dellal. From punk to prim so soon? Sounds like Mango is trying to change their image, calling Johansson “the ideal Mango woman; chic, independent, and cosmopolitan.”

MAG HAG: Cliche Magazine Launches in L.A.

Very thrilled with the debut issue of Cliche magazine. AND THE WINNER IS: Angelina Jolie

No doubt about it, Angie is the world’s most beautiful woman, in my opion. Apparetnly, I share that opinion with 58% of women…
Vanity Fair has named their most beautiful women of the year, stating: “Of the billions of women on this planet, only 19, we believe, could start wars, these modern-day Helens of Troy come from both hemispheres and include legends and ingenues, a Queen (Rania of Jordan) and a first Lady (Carla Bruni of France), and at least two bedmates of Leonardo DiCaprio (Bundchen and Bar Refaeli).

ADDICT: Scarlet Johansson for Moet

How amazing are these ads for Moet & Chandon??? Scarlet looks gorgeous…the hair, the simple yet elegant makeup, the long locks of blond hair (must have been shot a while back since she is currently a redhead), and did I mention the shoes?!? Where do I get them and how much will they set me back, cuz I’m ready!

MAG HAG: Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson hits the cover of the April issue of French Vogue, dark haired and very cleavagy.
BEHIND THE BEAUTY: Dolce & Gabbana

Makeup Artist Pat McGrath recreated the Scarlett Johansson look for the new D&G makeup ads for the
Dolce & Gabbana Fall/Winter 09 show.
McGrath called this look ‘modern Hollywood glamor’. Of course, she used Dolce & Gabbana makeup; powder foundation, a lipstick called Ultra (a great red), and a soft pink blush called Roses. From the Stromboli luxury line she used the light pink shimmery eye shadow, and the black gold eyeliner. She also used a black liquid liner and false lashes.

The above is my own version of this look that I did for a photo shoot…with bold red lips, light foundation, a pale pink blush, with a cream black liner, and I also filled in the model brow with a taupe brow filler.
MOMENT OF STYLE: Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson walked the red carpet of the Extreme Beauty In Vogue party at the Palazzina della Ragione during the Fashion Week in Milan, Italy, wearing what could only be a gorgeous Dolce & Gabbana dress, which complimented her figure so well.
Above, Scarlett walks side-by-side with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana to launch the new makeup line.
