ThreeASFOUR Fall 2012 Comes Full Circle

Edited by

ThreeASFOUR moves right around in a circular motion, looping from the printed wearability from Spring 2012 to the more experimental outer layers of Fall. The circular thematics broke garments into fragments to assemble spherically. Leather cut laser allowed for a precise interconnectedness, as the pattern looks particularly like a spine spinning in spirals, also partially like wheels turning in a machine. The machine of threeASFOUR – Gabi, Ange, and Adi – work insulated amongst themselves, not adhering to trend cycles, but to their own spherical vision. When Sean Ono Lennon releases the threeASFOUR documentary he is filming, perhaps we will learn more how these circular parts began to turn.

John Lennon & Musical Legends with Cute Cats and Dogs for Charity

Edited by

As further proof that rockstars are real people too (still debatable), there’s a set of 10 note cards now for sale with photos of musical legends and their loving animal counterparts. Did you realize that John Lennon was such a cat lover? Or that Patti Smith had a (presumably lucky) black cat? Or that David Bowie has a dog other than Diamond Dogs? Scott Schuman for DKNY

The Sartorialist himself, Scott Schuman has shot the new Spring 2009 DKNY Jeans campaign.

Featuring indie favorites like Chanel Iman, Sean Lennon, and Daisy Lowe, the ads are in trademark Schuman style — an individual stopped and snapped while strolling through the city.

Schuman’s ads will debut in February in magazines, on billboards, and online.
