Everyone stop what you’re doing — Justin Bieber dyed his hair and brought back the side part. Over the weekend, Selena Gomez opted for blue hair extensions and her beau Justin Bieber couldn’t resist but play with his locks as well. Dying them a dark shade of brown and bringing back some signature side sweeping, the Twitter world has caught wind and gone crazy over it. We aren’t sure why this is such big news, but considering the last time he chopped his signature side swept hairstyle he lost 80,000 Twitter followers and brought tweens nationwide to tears over the lost locks, we’re pressed to post this candid shot and find out what you think. It looks like teen love birds Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber will be ringing in the New Year together in New York City. Gomez is slated to perform at MTV‘s NYE Bash and Bieber will join Lady Gaga, Pitbull and Hot Chelle Rae to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Rockin’ New Year’s Eve with hosts Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest. I wonder if the pop stars will share a midnight kiss?

To my surprise as I sleepily browsed my Twitter feed this morning, the 2011 American Music Awards were on last night. I couldn’t care less about the crappy music being awarded, so I immediately searched for disappointing red carpet photos. While Nicki Minaj went for Baroque in W Magazine, her fellow contemporary pop stars painted the town Renaissance red during MTV’s Europe Music Awards. Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Eminem, Katy Perry and the prepubescent couple of Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber look classier than they could ever hope — although I’m pretty sure Gaga wore a similar gown to go grocery shopping the other week.
