They aren’t available on the website yet, but I am loving the closed cobalt Laura 3′s with leather and hardwear detailing. Can’t say enough about this dress. I actually don’t like plaid, but this is adorable. A great way to feminize the oversized plaid button up shirt, and looks quite comfy and warm for the winter.

Found on Ebay, these shoes were originally $645, now are a mere $102. But are they wearable? Some might think that these are quite ironic, but I must agree with AlwaysInStyle, “people would stoop down to pick up what they thought was a windfall.”

This Fall one of the hottest trends is a solid high leather boot. They are easy to wear with just about anything, and they are a great way to kill that stupid rain boot trend that Marc Jacobs was so content on sparking. Now I will say that with this much leather involved, unless you strike vintage store gold, it’s going to be hard to find a pair for less than $200. However $200 is not bad when you think about it. You are making an investment here. If you buy a pair of fairly standard boots they should last you years, and they tend to be rather timeless. Here are a few of my favorites, from the cheaper to the more expensive.

London-based graffiti artist Insa and shoe designer Ruth Shaw have teamed up for Insa Heels, whose website officially launches today.

“The Cigarette,” is the first style so far, available in three designs (“The Levishan” colorway is above). The stilleto is leather with a high gloss finish. Insa appeals to a wide demographic by combining the sex appeal of a spike heel with modern streetwear graphics.

The shoes sell for about $400.

In classical dance, you begin ballet classes with the dream of someday advancing to en pointe, also known as the style of ballet where you wear extra uncomfortable shoes with plaster toes that do terrible things to your feet while making you look unspeakably elegant. It makes a kind of sense, then, that this would translate well to the fashion world; we started off with the tame ballet flat, modeled upon the ballet slipper, but now certain designers are designing footware that bear an increasingly strong resemblance to pointe shoes (and this is to say nothing of ankle-ribbons). Although this trend has been around since last season, a recent trip to Forever 21 has proven the gladiator sandal’s status as official. Albeit cheaper, and therefore more likely to collapse at the most inconvenient of times, they were nonetheless cute. It wasn’t love at first sight when I first caught glimpse of the Balenciaga knee high version–atrociousness was more like it. But as new variants pop up all over the scene, I’ve become thoroughly enamored with their versatility and how they make an outfit seem so chic. I’m obsessed right now with BIBA’S tobacco high-heeled gladiator that I would gladly skip my car payment to own them. Great for summertime toes, they look best with mini hemlines (i.e. short shorts, mini skirts and dresses), and slim jeans.

We’ve been a little off the wall with our metallics lately. Half the office is all for gold, the other all for silver. We’ll I’ve decided to vote independent and add copper to the mix. These sandals are the perfect option for showing your love for the under loved tone.

T BAR STILETTO

My current obsessions are these T-strap high heels from Alloy. The T-bar is nice alternative to to the standard pump. It provides a nice detailing that has a retro feel to it. And with a 4-inch heel it gives you that extra height that we all need. And at $30 dollars the price is right.

Having trouble deciding if I hate these or love them.

They’re $70 bucks at Shopbop.com but I feel that they aren’t as comfy as they look.
